I'm not sure whether to write this here or in a separate report.
Why has vscode stopped searching in notes? via Search: Find in Files. It worked for me, but it stopped working some time ago.
With option Search: Exclude I can onlu exclude certain directories.@Geobert thanks for the suggestion, and sorry it took so long! Notes: Search Notes now opens VS Code's Search view limited to your notes folder, plus the project's Workspace Notes when it has any. Each section also has a search button, and folders have Search in Folder in their right-click menu. It's in #97 and will be in the next release.
@dracorp, Find in Files only searches the folders you have open in VS Code, so notes stored somewhere else aren't included. That may be what changed for you. Search Notes points VS Code's search at your notes folder directly, wherever it is.

first, thank you for this extension!
The only missing to totally fit my workflow is to be able to search accross the notes' folder.
Bascally calling VSCode search by prefilling the "files to include" with the directory by a VSCode command (the F1 panel)
