If you prefer to perform a system-wide installation to the default path (
/usr/local/on unix-like platforms), you can use the built-in runtime installer:Note: On Windows, installation using the runtime installer additionally creates a system service that allows the Desktop Server to run in Session 0 via
vtm --session0. This allows desktop sessions to be shared via SSH.
