Users can download a file or folder from the kebab menu. Files are sent as attachments; folders stream as a .tar.gz so large trees do not have to be built in memory first. Hidden entries are omitted from the archive. Guests cannot manage items in the User Files section. The API runs Gunicorn with gthread workers so those streamed responses work in containers and E2E.
