Place a ProtectionStone on the ground.
Place additional ProtectionStones adjacent to the first one.
Break the ProtectionStone using a Silk Touch pickaxe.
Expected behavior
Breaking a ProtectionStone with Silk Touch should only return the ProtectionStone item (or whatever the plugin is intended to return), without allowing players to duplicate valuable blocks or resources.
Actual behavior
When a ProtectionStone is broken with a Silk Touch pickaxe, the player receives:
The ProtectionStone item.
The original vanilla Emerald Ore block.
Because the ProtectionStone can be placed again and broken repeatedly, players can farm unlimited Emerald Ore, resulting in an infinite emerald exploit.
Impact
This allows players to generate unlimited emeralds, which can severely affect the server economy and gameplay balance.
