Issues

• [high] collection.add() stores the caller's object without deep-cloning — later caller mutations leak into the queued write

• [high] Path interpolation accepts "/" in param values — reads and writes silently land at a different Firestore path

• [high] Write rejecting after stop() re-registers an orphaned sync key — global useIsSynced() jams false for the rest of the session

  bug

• [high] increment() can be applied twice (or unboundedly while offline): pre-ack echo snapshot re-arms autosave and sync() has no in-flight guard

• [high] sync()/rebase equality disagrees with computeDiff on explicit-undefined and NaN — permanently stuck unsynced state / infinite write loop

  bug
flowcircuits/firestate#42 · Filter by author TrystonPerry opened on Jul 14, 2026

• [critical] deepClone silently converts Date (and any class instance without .isEqual) into {} — corrupted data written to Firestore

  bug

• Subscription rebuild (readOnly / queryConstraints / path change) discards un-synced localState

flowcircuits/firestate#26 · Filter by author TrystonPerry opened on Jun 18, 2026

• No automatic retry on transient write failures — pending edits stranded, never resynced
