Summary

  • Point /install.sh and /install.ps1 proxy functions to gorse-io/cli while preserving public installer URLs and response behavior.
  • Keep src/docs/gorse-cli.md and src/zh/docs/gorse-cli.md unchanged, as requested.

Verification

  • pnpm docs:build passed before reverting the Markdown-only additions.
  • Live upstream scripts returned HTTP 200 and matched the migrated scripts.
  • Node probes passed for proxy GET/HEAD, response bodies/headers, caching options, and upstream 404 -> 502 handling.
  • Both CLI documentation pages match origin/main exactly.
  • git diff --check passed.

Rollout

Publish the first independent CLI release before deploying the installer proxy changes; default installers download binaries from gorse-io/cli releases.
