A nitpick: You may want to pin the event page instead of the news page, then users don't have to click twice. But maybe you did that deliberately!

That's a good idea Edit: After trying it, there's something jarring about one of the pinned items being an event page (Amerihac), and another being a "save-the-date" announcement. So I'll keep the features items the announcements |
