I think it is long overdue that we make client-side submitted forms that do not require full page reloads a free feature. Here's what I think we should do:
- Port the
ajax-forms feature from mc4wp-premium to free. Instead of copying over the classes, we should probably work the code into the code from free directly.
- Ensure all forms will be AJAX enabled by default. People can still choose to opt out.
- Switch from
admin-ajax.php to a REST API endpoint.
