What changed

  • iOS stores the Not now choice for the current install.
  • Later launches do not show the prompt after dismissal.
  • Continue still requests the system tracking permission.
  • Failed storage and permission requests show a retry action.
  • The home LIVE NOW section hides See all when no live session exists.
  • The empty session screen uses a primary New coding task action.

Why

Users who select Not now must not receive the same prompt after each launch.

The empty states now remove an unusable link and emphasize the available action.

Verification

  • Driver checks: 3 checks passed after round 1
  • mobile: gates cached for 0d49127 (skipped)
  • mobile-device: verifier passed
  • mobile-device: spot check clean

The fresh-state recording shows the prompt once and the Not now dismissal.

e4-continue.mov

The relaunch recording shows that the prompt does not return after Not now.

Notes for the reviewer

  • The dismissal applies to the device install, not the signed-in account.
  • Signing out does not clear the dismissal.
