Preview 19.5 documents the tested Buyer/Provider CLI upgrade and the supported Punch installation path beside an existing Livepeer orchestrator. It preserves existing identities, credentials, offers and state, and distinguishes public zero-price use from optional staging-only native payment commands.
The Linux/x64 archive is already built and verified:
d18f8e6586f6333610f3ef33e13c27c571dbc30bdbf34f7038908283069892ae. Its binding records private source1f24468and built public source4073d86; this PR adds documentation corrections after that built source, without changing the archive. Preview 19.4 remains available for rollback.Validation: Buyer/API/SSH regressions 68/68; release metadata regressions 9/9; builder required cases 4/4; archive checksum, extraction, Node syntax, all-role installation, Buyer/Provider help and uninstall passed. The real 19.4-to-19.5 archive upgrade preserved synthetic external identity/config/state; retained 19.4 executables worked afterward. Same-prefix reinstallation correctly rejects an existing version. Existing public documentation checks are run on this PR. The production Control deployment passed its version, health, configuration and idle-job readbacks with payments disabled. Authenticated production Buyer smoke is tracked separately; this PR does not claim it has passed.
No native wallet or payer signer is distributed by this CLI. No new payment, provider identity, Pon host operation or image publication is part of this PR.
Hosted validation exposed a stale rule requiring published Preview 19.4 to be described as an unpublished candidate. The existing validator now checks the exact 19.5 archive and published 19.4 provenance; the unchanged documentation reproduced the old failure and passed after this rule correction.
