Both GraphSON and native Traversal traversals can be converted back to text strings quite easily using the Java/Groovy client libraries. However the steps involved are not simple to figure out from the JavaDoc. It is also possible from Python and other GLV clients but needs some more work.
Would be good to add a section with examples describing how to do this.
