what

moves the python setup off requirements files and onto a uv workspace, and fixes the release while i was in there.

deps

  • 6 requirements*.txt -> one pyproject.toml per package + one uv.lock at the root
  • dev tools listed once in the root, uv version pinned once (required-version)
  • flake now just gives python 3.12 + uv, uv owns every python package in .venv

ci

  • workflows install with uv sync --locked, so a stale lock fails instead of drifting
  • pytest wired in (no tests yet, so "no tests" passes for now -- TODO)
  • mypy checks untyped function bodies now

release

  • server.zip was never built, so installs would 404 on it. one loop now builds all 3 python zips
  • release runs the ci checks first, only from main or a tag, uploads as a draft then publishes
  • lambda deps built for lambda's linux, not the runner's (future pynacl could've broken it)
  • prerelease checkbox actually does something now

misc

  • lambda-build/ wasn't actually gitignored (inline comment broke the pattern)
  • one dependabot uv entry instead of three pip ones

after pulling

direnv allow, then point your ide at .venv/bin/python
