Summary

  • Reworks feat(dashboard): revocable server-side remembered device sessions #4649 per the owner's October 15 request: Remember this device exchanges the admin token for a server-issued, revocable device session. The admin token is never persisted in browser storage.
  • The server sets an opaque host-only HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict cookie (__Host- and Secure on HTTPS) and stores only hashes plus a fixed 30-day server-side expiry in its private, bounded dashboard-sessions.json store. Remember also returns a separate device proof that the dashboard keeps in this origin's storage and sends only on its session re-bootstrap. Cookies are shared across ports of one hostname; the proof (origin-scoped) is what binds the remembered device to this dashboard, so the cookie alone never resumes a session. Neither value is the admin token and neither works alone.
  • Forget this device is in the desktop sidebar and mobile action bar. Logout durably revokes the device record and all its resumed sessions, expires the cookie and clears the proof. Store replacement uses a no-follow writer that fsyncs content before rename; directory-entry durability on crash is best effort.
  • Persistence is opt-in and restricted to direct same-origin HTTPS dashboards (including the hub's dedicated management listener behind its local TLS terminator) or loopback. Remote plaintext HTTP, cross-origin dashboards and relay transport keep memory-only sign-in. Obsolete remembered-bearer-token keys are deleted without being read, sent or migrated.
  • Remembered sessions derive from the admin token, so every casual-path consent guard treats them like the admin token: GitHub star, Anthropic reset-grant consumption, prompt-layer writes, Meta Muse sign-in, desktop compatibility changes and pending-account validation on refresh still need a fresh local or paired dashboard session. Pairing, data-key reveal and link routes stay denied.
  • Brought onto current dev with merge commits (no rebase/force-push). Updated all 11 GUI locales, the English dashboard guide and all seven translations, route inventory and architecture docs.

Refs #4644. This works around repeat PWA sign-in; it does not claim to restore Safari password AutoFill.

  • bun run typecheck, bun run structure:check, bun run privacy:scan, bun run skill:surface:check, git diff --check → exit 0. Docs site build → 577 pages.
  • Full local bun run test (macOS, pinned Bun 1.4.3): 4 failing tests on the first run. Two were real source-oracle updates (star-endpoint oracle, headless-parity map), fixed in 7770892d9c and green in CI at this head. The other two are environment-only on this host: tests/ci-workflows/bun-runtime.test.ts refuses to clean a fixture because the checkout lives under the real Codex home, and claude-desktop-remote-hub cold restart fails identically on a clean origin/dev export. The local run shared the machine with other concurrent worktrees; full Linux coverage is the hosted CI above.
  • Regression tests added: admission through real management dispatch (Origin/Sec-Fetch-Site/forwarded headers, plain-HTTP and relay refusal, hub listener positive path, duplicate cookies, proof required at every bootstrap entry point including the live machine listener, proof absent from cookies/HTML/URLs/disk/logs, CSRF on logout, forget durability and failure rollback, admin-token rotation, malformed/symlink/hardlink/oversize store, 128-record limit, all consent guards with loopback controls); atomic writer fsync-before-rename and failure behavior; GUI proof storage/transport/removal and storage-failure handling. A mutation removing the User-Agent binding now fails the suite.
  • Not demonstrated: real iPhone Safari standalone relaunch and a real two-port browser run; Windows store/ACL behavior beyond CI's skipped jobs.

Server-side remembered-device sign-in: opt-in checkbox and session/HTTPS explanation

Security review

This PR changes dashboard authentication and credential storage, so it was reviewed explicitly before this head:

  • Credential at rest: browser holds an HttpOnly cookie and an origin-scoped proof, never the admin token; the server stores SHA-256 digests of device token, proof, admin-token fingerprint and User-Agent with a fixed 30-day expiry. Rotating the admin token invalidates every remembered device.
  • Origin binding: a remembered session is minted only when cookie, proof, server origin, User-Agent and admin-token fingerprint all match, checked inside the resume path before any session exists. Forwarded headers cannot create the hub listener trust mark.
  • Authority: remembered sessions get dashboard access but admin-token parity on consent actions, and no pairing, data-key reveal or link authority.
  • Revocation: logout/Forget revoke in memory immediately and publish the store with content fsync before rename; a failed publication returns 503 and keeps both disk and memory state for retry.
  • Independent reviews: an architect review and plan audits before implementation, and a final-diff security review (PASS after two fixes: shared-session recovery during target discovery, and a vacuous User-Agent test). No automated security scanner was run.

Checklist

  • Scope stays focused and avoids unrelated cleanup.
  • Docs or release notes were updated when needed.
  • Security-sensitive changes were reviewed for secrets, auth, and unsafe defaults.

Review readiness checklist

Author re-attestation for head 1084eed684b3d917aff2f3a38534d60364cbda67 (2026-10-18): addressed the Ingwannu re-review — fixture-isolation fix, enrollment-based Forget visibility with proof-change event, Forget record matching, and the performance thread resolved by decision. Validated at this exact head with pinned Bun 1.4.3: typecheck pass; session/admission/GUI suites 41 pass, 3 platform skips, 0 fail. Prior-head hosted CI (39067644319/299/305) passed; new-head hosted CI and maintainer re-review remain pending, and the documented iPhone/two-port and macOS/Windows gaps still apply.

  • Required local validation passed; commands, results, and any full-suite exception are documented.
  • I pushed my PR to a recent dev commit (at most 10 behind; a maintainer may still ask for the exact tip before merge).
  • I resolved all correct Codex and CodeRabbit findings.
  • My PR is ready for review.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added an optional “Remember this device” sign-in choice for eligible HTTPS or local dashboards. Remembered sessions can resume for up to 30 days and can be revoked by forgetting the device or logging out.
    • Added device-session controls and guidance across supported languages.
  • Security
    • Remembered sessions cannot authorize sensitive consent actions; those require a fresh local or paired session.
    • Remembering is unavailable for relayed, cross-origin, or remote plain-HTTP dashboards.

📝 Walkthrough

The dashboard adds opt-in, persistent device sessions using a server-issued cookie and a separate browser proof. Eligible sessions can resume through bootstrap. The server stores bounded device records, supports forgetting devices, and excludes remembered sessions from selected authorization paths.

Changes: Remembered dashboard sessions

Layer / File(s) Summary
Persistent device-session storage and endpoints
src/server/persistent-gui-session.ts, src/server/management-auth.ts, src/server/management/session-routes.ts, src/config/atomic-write.ts, tests/server/persistent-dashboard-*.test.ts, tests/config/atomic-write-nofollow-streamed.test.ts, src/server/gui-session.ts, src/server/auth-cors.ts, src/server/management-api.ts, src/server/management/route-registry.ts, test-layout files
The server adds bounded persistent device records, device enrollment and resumption, and device removal during logout. Session authorization checks whether a remembered device remains current. The streamed no-follow writer publishes records after syncing file content.
Dashboard enrollment and device controls
gui/src/admin-token-dialog.ts, gui/src/api.ts, gui/src/App.tsx, gui/src/i18n/*, gui/tests/persistent-dashboard.test.ts, gui/tests/api-auth-memory.test.ts, docs-site/src/content/docs/*/guides/web-dashboard.md, structure/dashboard-and-usage.md
The dashboard adds an opt-in remember-device checkbox and sends the choice to the server. Eligible same-origin bootstrap requests can send a validated proof. The interface supports forgetting a device and reports the corresponding session outcome. Tests and guides cover these flows and their constraints.
Remembered-session authorization boundaries
src/server/management/consent-session.ts, src/server/management/*-routes.ts, tests/server/persistent-dashboard-admission.test.ts, tests/server/startup-prompt.test.ts, structure/gui-and-management-api.md
The shared session predicate excludes remembered-admin sessions from human-dashboard authorization. Management routes apply that predicate to consent-sensitive operations and other guarded actions. Tests cover the resulting access restrictions.

The remaining issues are bounded but worth fixing: Forget can report success without removing a device record, ordinary dashboards can show the wrong action, and test cleanup can affect later tests. Merge with owner acceptance of these follow-ups, or fix them first.

OpenCodex itself still keeps the submitted token in memory only라고 말함.

gui/tests - remembered 성공/거절·체크 on/off 회귀는 좋음.

Addressed all review findings in 3c2782d:

  1. JSDoc: no longer claims memory-only storage — now accurately describes opt-in localStorage.
  2. Form-control name: name= remember added to the checkbox input for consistency.
  3. Pre-check: the remember checkbox is pre-checked when a stored token is found.
  4. Revoked token: if the remembered token equals the token that caused the current 401, it is cleared immediately without a redundant server verification round-trip.
  5. Transient outage: if token verification is unavailable (5xx/network error), the stored token is preserved rather than deleted. It is only cleared on an explicit rejected response.

28 tests pass (4 new regression tests added), typecheck and build clean.

Rebased onto the current dev tip (2b19983) and added the required UI screenshot of the remember checkbox in 7eaef95. Re-verified on that exact head: bun run typecheck clean, the 28 admin-token/api auth GUI tests pass (4 regression tests for remembered-token accept/reject/unavailable paths), and bun run build:gui succeeds. The earlier review findings (JSDoc wording, name=remember, pre-checked state, clear-on-revoked, preserve-on-unavailable) are all in this head.

Rebased onto the current dev tip (7868f5d) and bounded remembered-token verification in 53d92db, fixing the CodeRabbit stability finding: verifyAdminToken now uses createBoundedFetch so a hanging /api/settings can no longer wedge resolutionInFlight. Verified on this head: bun run typecheck clean; 30 admin-token/api auth GUI tests pass including the new hung-verification regression test (admin-token-dialog suite unchanged at 28 pass).

…alone sign-in

Squash of PR lidge-jun#4649 (5 commits, head c7776d5) rebased onto dev e4ceeb3, preserving the Vietnamese catalog completion unique to the merge commit.

Adds an opt-in remember-on-this-device checkbox to the dashboard admin-token dialog. The token is stored in localStorage under opencodex.remembered-admin-token only when checked, reverified against the server with a bounded fetch on reuse, and cleared on rejection or sign-out.

Includes the review fixes for remembered-token handling, the sign-in screenshot for the PR description, and the completed Vietnamese catalog.

Cookies are shared across ports of one hostname, so the HttpOnly device
cookie alone no longer resumes a remembered session: Remember also returns a
separate device proof that the dashboard keeps in origin-scoped storage and
sends only on its session re-bootstrap. The proof is checked inside
resumeGuiDevice before any session is minted, covering every bootstrap entry
point.

Remembered sessions are derived from the admin token, so casual-path consent
guards (GitHub star, reset-grant consume, prompt-layer writes, Meta Muse
sign-in, desktop compatibility changes, account-refresh validation) treat them
like the admin token. Remember/Forget publish the store through a no-follow
writer that fsyncs content before rename; directory sync stays best effort.

Adds admission-level regression coverage through real management dispatch.
The dashboard stores the proof returned by Remember in this origin's
localStorage, sends it only on the session re-bootstrap request, removes it
after a successful logout or Forget, keeps it after a failed logout so retry
works, and reports Remember unavailable when storage cannot hold it. Guides in
all locales and the structure docs describe the cookie + proof binding, the
consent limits of remembered sessions, and best-effort crash durability.
…overy

A session-change event now only reveals readiness; dropping it on the
transient clear during connected-target discovery cancelled the requests that
recover the shared session (remote-link-route pending-bootstrap cases).
Tighten the browser-identity regression so only the User-Agent differs.
…ource oracles

The star-endpoint oracle now checks that sidebar routes delegate to
hasHumanDashboardSession and that the predicate itself reads the credential
principal and excludes remembered-admin sessions. The headless-parity map
lists /api/session/remember as GUI-only, next to /api/session/logout.

@Ingwannu — your change requests on d2ea02b and fa9e004 reviewed the earlier design that kept the admin token in browser storage. On 2026-10-15 the owner asked for a server-issued device session instead, which is what this branch now implements. Mapping each point to the current head:

Point (your review) Status at current head
Unscoped remembered secret reused across machine/shared planes and sent to another server Obsolete: no admin token is stored in the browser. The server issues an HttpOnly device cookie plus a separate origin-scoped device proof; neither works alone, and resumption checks the server origin.
Legacy unscoped value auto-sent or migrated Resolved: legacy keys are deleted without being read, sent or migrated.
Forget reachable Resolved: Forget in sidebar and mobile actions; logout revokes the device record and its sessions.
P1 relay reconnection forwarding hub A's token to hub B Obsolete: persistence is refused for relay and cross-origin targets; relayed planes keep memory-only sign-in.
P2 deadline test did not exercise the new path Resolved: the replacement test invokes Remember and asserts the request was attempted and then aborted at the deadline.
P3 exact Forget prefix match / translated warnings Resolved.
Branch staleness Resolved: merged current dev (merge commit, no force-push).

Additional hardening from this round is described in the PR body's security review section. Could you re-review the current head and, if your concerns are addressed, withdraw the change request? Exact-head CI evidence is in the Verification section.

@x3M3x — thanks for the server-side rework. As a maintainer I pushed commits on top of c4a9bf54e8 to bring this to merge-ready state: current dev merged (merge commits, no force-push), a device proof that binds the remembered cookie to this dashboard origin, admin-token parity for remembered sessions on consent actions, durable store writes, and admission-level tests. Details are in the updated description; final head is 7770892d9ce9f536b9b8e30af2855ec6fe643028 and hosted CI is green there.

Because new commits landed, the readiness gate needs your re-attestation for this head (the gate only accepts edits from the PR author):

  1. Wait until the gate comment shows it is waiting for you to clear the boxes for this head.
  2. In one edit, untick all four boxes in "Review readiness checklist".
  3. Wait for the gate to record that step, then in one more edit tick all four.

Please check the description's Verification section first and tell us here if anything in it does not match what you see. If you would rather not take on the extra commits, say so and we will discuss carrying them separately.

@Ingwannu — point-by-point mapping of your two change requests (5335377659 on d2ea02b557, 5343532538 on fa9e004b9e) to the current head c7618dd06826beb40bc4705b3ec01099ee3d8541. Both reviews targeted the earlier design that stored the admin token in browser storage; on 2026-10-15 the owner asked for a server-issued device session instead, which is what this head implements. Hosted CI at this head: ci.yml run 39067644319, React Doctor 39067644299 and Catalog async contracts 39067644305 all success (checkout Merge c7618dd068 into f443f49ed0). Test results below are from those runs and from local runs with pinned Bun 1.4.3.

Your point Resolution at c7618dd068 Evidence
5335377659 — one unscoped remembered secret reused across machine/shared planes and sent to another server after a 401 Superseded. No admin token is persisted in the browser. Remember (457c35464b, a81561745e) exchanges the typed token for an HttpOnly device cookie; f55f9f912d adds a separate device proof kept in this origin's storage and sent only on the session re-bootstrap. The server mints a remembered session only when cookie, proof, server origin, User-Agent and admin-token fingerprint all match, before any session exists. src/server/persistent-gui-session.ts:117 (resume), gui/src/api.ts:386 (proof only on bootstrap), gui/src/api.ts:308 (eligibility); tests gui/tests/persistent-dashboard.test.ts "remember response stores proof and reload sends it only on session bootstrap" (gui/tests/persistent-dashboard.test.ts:33) and "a bootstrap URL outside the dashboard origin receives no proof" (gui/tests/persistent-dashboard.test.ts:173); tests/server/persistent-dashboard-admission.test.ts "all issueGuiSession bootstrap shapes require proof before remembered issuance" — pass
Do not auto-send or migrate the legacy unscoped value Resolved. Legacy keys are deleted without being read, sent or migrated. gui/src/api.ts:297; test "obsolete remembered bearer tokens are removed without reading or migrating them" (gui/tests/persistent-dashboard.test.ts:67) — pass
Two-target direct + relay regressions proving token A never reaches B Resolved for the new design, with a stated limit. Remember is refused for relay and cross-origin targets, so no remembered credential exists for another target. The existing test shows relay shared/machine sessions stay separated; it shows static separation, not a reconnect race. gui/src/api.ts:310; test "relay requests carry independent shared and machine sessions without cross-target leakage" (gui/tests/api-auth-memory.test.ts:563); server refusal of relayed/forwarded planes in tests/server/persistent-dashboard-admission.test.ts "the process-marked hub management listener can remember; unmarked and relayed planes cannot" — pass
5343532538 P1 — relay reconnection A→B forwards hub A's remembered token through the listener Superseded for remembered credentials. Because relay targets cannot remember a device, no persisted remembered credential is retrieved for relay forwarding, so the A-token replay and the A-scope overwrite you described cannot occur. General relay reconnect races for memory-only sign-in are outside this PR and this evidence. gui/src/api.ts:310; src/server/persistent-gui-session.ts:26 (origin derivation refuses relay/forwarded planes)
P2 — deadline test seeded the legacy key and never exercised the new path Resolved. The replacement test invokes Remember against a hung response body and asserts the request was attempted, aborted at the deadline, and installed no session. test "a hung Remember response body is aborted and cannot install a session" (gui/tests/persistent-dashboard.test.ts:81) — pass
P3 — exact Forget-key match Resolved. Exact key or prefix + ":". Forget/logout also revokes the server record and every derived session, and clears the proof only after the server confirms. gui/src/api.ts:303; src/server/persistent-gui-session.ts:137; tests "logout keeps proof after … failure, then retry revokes and removes proof" (gui/tests/persistent-dashboard.test.ts:137) and "logout needs CSRF; successful forget survives a new auth state reading disk" (admission suite) — pass
P3 — translated docs carry the same per-server/transport warning Resolved. All eight dashboard guides state the cookie + proof binding, the HTTPS/loopback/relay limits and the consent limits of remembered sessions. docs-site/src/content/docs/guides/web-dashboard.md:38, docs-site/src/content/docs/fr/guides/web-dashboard.md:40, docs-site/src/content/docs/ja/guides/web-dashboard.md:30, docs-site/src/content/docs/ko/guides/web-dashboard.md:30, docs-site/src/content/docs/ru/guides/web-dashboard.md:30, docs-site/src/content/docs/tr/guides/web-dashboard.md:42, docs-site/src/content/docs/zh-cn/guides/web-dashboard.md:29, docs-site/src/content/docs/zh-tw/guides/web-dashboard.md:34; docs site build success in CI
Staleness, draft/readiness, no exact-head functional CI Resolved except readiness. Branch contains current dev (f443f49ed0) via merge commits, exact-head CI is green (runs above). Readiness boxes were ticked by the maintainer lane on the coordinator's authority; the gate may still ask for the author's own re-attestation. PR description, Verification section

The description's Security review section covers the credential-handling review you said was still required. Could you re-review this head and, if these points are addressed, withdraw the change requests?

@lidge-jun Completed the author re-attestation for c7618dd06826beb40bc4705b3ec01099ee3d8541: cleared all four boxes, waited for the recorded checkpoint, then confirmed all four in a separate author edit. The bot now records phase: attested and this exact completed head.

I reviewed the maintainer additions and verified the three cited hosted runs (39067644319 / 39067644299 / 39067644305) are successful for this head. Local pinned-Bun recheck: 85 pass, 5 Windows-specific skips, 0 fail across session/admission/durable-writer and GUI-proof/recovery tests; typecheck passed. The Verification section correctly distinguishes Linux hosted coverage from skipped macOS/Windows jobs and unverified iPhone/two-port testing. The branch is currently two commits behind dev, within the gate allowance. No code changes were needed.

The remaining quality-gate failure is unsponsored_surface, not author re-attestation: it requires a maintainer to apply maintainer-sponsored for the auth surface. Could you record your sponsorship with that label? The older Ingwannu change requests also remain pending re-review/withdrawal; I have not treated them as approvals. Production was untouched.

Maintainer security review at c7618dd06826beb40bc4705b3ec01099ee3d8541 (static, independent reviewer + maintainer; tests not re-run here): NEAR-PASS, applying maintainer-sponsored.

@Ingwannu, for your re-review, the status of your points:

Point Status at this head
Unscoped remembered admin token reused across planes/servers Moot — admin tokens stay in memory; only a device proof is persisted, and resumption binds cookie, proof, canonical origin, User-Agent and admin fingerprint (src/server/persistent-gui-session.ts:117, gui/src/api.ts:308,384,430)
Legacy value sent or migrated Resolved — legacy keys are deleted without being read (gui/src/api.ts:297-305)
P1 relay A→B reconnect Moot for remembered credentials (Remember excludes relay targets, relay allowlists exclude cookie/proof: gui/src/api.ts:310, src/client/hub-relay.ts:14,28). General forwarding still selects connection.managementUrl without an expected identity/generation (src/client/machine-listener.ts:177); that is pre-existing and not widened here — your call whether it must be fixed in this PR or tracked separately
P2 deadline test Resolved (gui/tests/persistent-dashboard.test.ts:81-94)
P3 Forget exact match, translated docs Resolved (gui/src/api.ts:303, all eight dashboard guides)

Device sessions: 256-bit random cookie and proof, SHA-256 at rest, 30-day absolute lifetime, Forget revokes the device and derived sessions, HttpOnly + host-only + SameSite=Strict (+Secure on HTTPS), Remember requires an authenticated admin and exact Origin, mutations require Origin + CSRF, loopback bootstrap unchanged, remembered sessions cannot satisfy human-consent guards. No dependency or workflow changes.

This PR will not be merged while your change request is outstanding.

Scoped re-review at c7618dd, in response to the author/owner mentions. The old persisted-admin-token design has been replaced: the browser now persists only the device proof, Remember excludes relay/cross-origin targets, bootstrap restricts proof forwarding, and legacy bearer keys are removed without reading/migration. The hung-body test now actually invokes Remember and asserts its abort; exact-prefix legacy cleanup is covered. I am withdrawing the two obsolete-head change requests separately. This is not an approval of the whole new authentication design or a new security scan; the owner has recorded that separate review. The current head still has the fixture isolation problem below, and the enrollment-vs-capability UI thread needs an explicit resolution. The disk-read performance thread is a tradeoff rather than a reason to cache away revocation correctness. Existing hosted Ubuntu CI succeeded; macOS/Windows jobs were skipped, so the earlier aggregate containing old failed gate runs must not be read as a current functional failure or universal OS proof.

@lidge-jun @Ingwannu Addressed the re-review at new head 1084eed68 (merge of current dev 8640c2f30; no force-push):

  • Fixture isolation (P2): the session suite now uses the createTempHome fixture and deletes OPENCODEX_ADMIN_AUTH_TOKEN when it was previously unset, matching the admission test; no literal "undefined" can leak into the shared test process.
  • Enrollment vs capability UI: Forget visibility now derives from stored proof enrollment (hasRememberedDashboardDevice), the logout failure message uses the same state, and a new DEVICE_PROOF_CHANGED_EVENT fires after the proof is written and after logout clears it, with App rerendering from that event.
  • Forget record matching: deletion now matches cookie digest + server origin + current credential; User-Agent/expiry still protect resumption only, so a browser User-Agent change between Remember and Forget no longer strands the record. Regression added.
  • Disk-read performance thread: intentionally not cached — the bounded synchronous read (≤128 KiB, ≤128 records) keeps revocation and token rotation effective on the next request; the per-request admission cache already avoids duplicate reads within one request.

All four review threads are resolved with these replies. Post-merge validation at this head: typecheck pass; focused session/admission/GUI suites 41 pass, 3 platform skips, 0 fail (Bun 1.4.3); pre-merge the wider admission/auth/sidebar/memory lane was 87 pass, 3 skips, 0 fail and build:gui passed. Author re-attestation for this head is in progress. Production untouched.

Re-review at 1084eed: The session fixture now uses createTempHome, captures the prior admin-token variable per test, and deletes the key to restore absence. The original literal-undefined environment leak is addressed; the admission fixture has matching restoration.

Independent capped Linux/Bun 1.4.3 focused validation: 27 passed, 0 failed in isolated homes. I am withdrawing review 5563114027 as superseded. The Remember/Forget enrollment and deletion changes still need current-head owner disposition; the owner's earlier NEAR-PASS must not be treated as an approval of every later semantic change. No whole-design authentication review or GUI approval is claimed.

Current-head required CI/readiness remain outstanding. No workflow approval, live runtime change, new scan or merge was performed.

Specific original blocker(s) fixed at 1084eed; 27 focused tests independently pass. Separate current-head CI, readiness and required owner/boundary review remain outstanding; this withdrawal is not whole-PR approval.

@lidge-jun The branch is ready at head 1084eed684b3d917aff2f3a38534d60364cbda67: readiness gate 4/4, hygiene/enforce-target/label all green, no open review threads, and @Ingwannu's re-review confirms the fixture-isolation fix with the old change request withdrawn.

Two things only a maintainer can do:

  1. Approve the fork CI runs for this head — Cross-platform CI, React Doctor and Catalog async contracts are all sitting in action_required for 1084eed68 (runs 39143075134 / 39143075270 / 39143075182), same approval path you used for the previous head.
  2. Record your disposition on the two semantic changes Ingwannu flagged for owner review: Forget visibility now derives from stored proof enrollment (with a proof-change event), and Forget deletion matches cookie digest + origin + credential so a User-Agent change no longer strands the record. Your earlier NEAR-PASS covered the prior head, so an explicit current-head word on these two would unblock the merge decision.

No code changes pending from our side. Production untouched.
