docs(i18n): add Spanish website and documentation - #7559
Adds Spanish navigation, landing and benchmark copy, metadata, search, and all 74 current canonical documentation paths through the existing Astro/Starlight locale architecture. Dashboard and README localization remain separate contributions. The PR diff changes no backend, dependency, release, or workflow implementation.
Current head: f4cead0f67c7897161a2bf0c2c0a180f7757c706. Refreshed onto dev at ceef4889e4666dc0492a375d272eafa5b785361e (2.93.0), including the owner's triage base 2494848f56. Merge history is preserved. All eight upstream test-layout shards are unchanged; this contribution appends its documentation shard.
The latest maintainer comment is addressed technically: dev conflicts resolved without dropping shards, and the xAI string conversion condition now explicitly excludes empty and whitespace-only strings. The refresh also synchronizes JEV session pinning/saved strategies, Antigravity account model availability, provider discovery/credits, Hermes affinity, native effort normalization, Remote Link readiness/diagnostics, Bun requirements, and the new signing-policy link with current English.
The earlier 36 review threads were checked against canonical English and relevant runtime contracts. Explicit ocx stop does stop an installed service before restoring native Codex; a successfully inspected but refused preview can exit 0 without applying a change. Those two review premises were qualified with source evidence rather than changing documented behavior incorrectly.
Human Spanish acceptance: Federico (the contributing author, federicorv25) confirmed after reviewing: “Ya lo revisé y acepto el español.” This records human language acceptance by the contributor; it is not independent maintainer approval or a native Desktop test.
Keep Draft pending fresh review, authorized exact-head CI, and maintainer acceptance. CodeRabbit confirmed that the full review was triggered; its status is now “Review in progress”. Its result is not being awaited or pre-accepted.
Verification
Frozen root, GUI, and docs-site installs passed. Dependency/lockfile updates inherited from dev are absent from this PR's diff. System Bun 1.4.4; tests use repository-pinned Bun 1.4.3 from the verified official archive, through the isolated scripts/test.ts wrapper.
Command / scope
Result
bun run typecheck; bun run structure:check
Passed again after the final dev merge
bun scripts/test.ts --timeout 120000: every tests/ci-workflows/docs-*.test.ts, both layout tests, structure/hygiene guards, routed-agent-message conversion, CLI export
512 passed, 0 failed, 4,661 assertions, 20 files
Same wrapper: tests/ci-workflows/file-size-ratchet.test.ts
9 passed, 0 failed, 85 assertions; no cap changed
After final dev merge: fixture teardown, Codex auth-context, server-management-auth regression files
143 passed, 0 failed, 693 assertions
Final Spanish-doc guard recheck after last prose edits
15 passed, 0 failed, 2,138 assertions; these tests are already included in the 512-test group
In docs-site, OPENCODEX_DOCS_OFFLINE=1 bun run build
667 pages, 97,690 internal links checked, Pagefind and sitemap completed
bun scripts/privacy-scan.ts on final staged tree; git diff --check
Passed; clean
The xAI runtime regressions exercise whitespace-only rejection, exact whitespace/newline preservation, forward-auth exclusions, and HTTPS host/port restrictions. Documentation guards cover locale paths, Markdown command/fence parity, identifiers, API statuses, links, names, and placeholders.

The isolated official Bun 1.4.3 binary is in ignored scratch space at the path shown above; point OCX_TEST_RUNNER_BUN at your own 1.4.3 binary when reproducing. The installed runtime is Bun 1.4.4.
Full-root-suite resource exception: no passing full-root result is claimed. The preceding combined-PR full run reached its 900-second limit and included Windows fixture/symlink and timing failures; those failures have not all been independently classified as environmental. This docs-only split uses explicit source-reading guards and relevant runtime/export/auth regressions under the repository's documented resource exception. Broad exact-head hosted CI remains outstanding. Native Desktop acceptance is unverified.
Hosted CI for this exact head:Cross-platform CI, React Doctor, and Codex queue helpers report action_required; a maintainer must authorize the fork runs and arrange the requested lane=all. Target/hygiene/label checks remain queued at inspection; an earlier label attempt was cancelled and superseded. GitHub reports this head mergeable against ceef4889e; approval/check requirements still block integration. CodeRabbit now reports “Review in progress” after the explicit full-review request. No passing hosted CI or completed fresh review is claimed.
Browser evidence: actual-browser DOM checks confirmed the corrected adapter paragraph, the new JEV section, Spanish lang metadata, mobile navigation, and no horizontal page overflow in the inspected 1366px/390px views. The screenshot service failed even on a fresh tab, so this refresh has no new screenshot or fresh visual-acceptance claim. The captures below are explicitly the preceding reviewed head's evidence, retained as context. Personal Desktop/configuration/provider credentials were not used.
Earlier mobile and landing evidence
All captures are hosted only on the fork's separate pr-assets branch and pinned by commit SHA; no screenshot is committed to this PR's branch.
Checklist
Scope stays focused and avoids unrelated cleanup.
Docs or release notes were updated when needed.
Security-sensitive changes were reviewed for secrets, auth, and unsafe defaults. Documentation was checked against existing contracts and privacy scan passed; this is not maintainer security approval.
Review readiness checklist
Required local validation passed; commands, results, and any full-suite exception are documented.
I pushed my PR to a recent dev commit (at most 10 behind; a maintainer may still ask for the exact tip before merge).
I resolved all correct Codex and CodeRabbit findings.
My PR is ready for review.
The known valid nonblank finding is fixed, and the contributor's human Spanish acceptance is recorded above. Fresh review, authorized exact-head CI (including the owner's requested lane=all), and maintainer approval remain outstanding. The final-render evidence limitation is documented above. The last two readiness boxes intentionally remain unchecked.

Explanation
Issue #7406 is closed and supplies historical context only. No active directly linked issue remains. Therefore, no linked-issue coding requirements apply. The PR reference to #1551 is not in the linked-issue set and is not assessed.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
The changes stay within the stated documentation-site split. Spanish content is under docs-site/src/content/docs/es/, with related locale, navigation, metadata, benchmark, and code-block changes in docs-site/. English and other translated documentation edits synchronize canonical documentation used by the Spanish pages. Tests and layout registrations under tests/ci-workflows/, tests/fixtures/, and scripts/test-layout/ validate this documentation scope. src, package.json, and .github/workflows have no whole-PR diff, which supports the reported exclusion of backend, dependency, and workflow implementation. No unrelated change is demonstrated.

This is the docs-site-first extraction requested in the closure of #7406. The dashboard and README are being preserved on separate branches, without opening competing review requests. The published head is 8ad7522, based on current dev 5f7f7db. Local validation and real browser captures are in the description. The PR remains Draft for owner/localization acceptance; current hosted functional checks still need maintainer authorization.
Please review this documentation-only scope and its guards, including the six documentation corrections carried from the final #7406 review. This does not attest independent human language acceptance. The contributor will inspect the completed review; we are not waiting for its result.
The CLI registry, help text, dispatch logic, tests, and lifecycle documentation all define this subcommand. No documentation change is required for this concern.
The foreground-to-service handoff is already implemented.
ocx service install stops the tracked foreground proxy before writing service assets, then installs and verifies the service. It releases the previous ownership only after registration succeeds. Leaving ocx start running before installation is therefore supported. The proposed instruction to stop it first is unnecessary and could remove the intended failure-safe behavior.
The finding is refuted. --restart-codex intentionally restarts app servers and fully quits and relaunches the Codex desktop app. --restart-app-server-only is the narrower alternative and leaves the desktop app running.
⚠️Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Qualify the automatic-restart claim.
These lines say that service managers restart the process after failure. The sign-in troubleshooting page states that the Codex integration does not install a background service and requires a separate ocx service install step. Users without an installed and configured service manager may therefore expect recovery that does not occur.
Change this to: Cuando hay un gestor de servicios instalado y configurado, puede reiniciar el proceso si falla.
As per path instructions, localized documentation must remain consistent with actual CLI/API behavior and related documentation.
⚠️Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Fix the first heading level.
### Backends de búsqueda web adicionales is the first document heading after front matter, so it has no level-two parent and violates MD001. Change it to ##, or add a containing level-two section.
⚠️Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Add the blank line required after the fenced block.
markdownlint-cli2 reports MD031 because this fenced block is immediately followed by the admonition terminator. Add an empty line between the closing fence and :::.
⚠️Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Remove the trailing space from the inline code span.
The # span has a space before its closing backtick. markdownlint-cli2 reports MD038 on this line. Write `#` seguido de un espacio or move the trailing space outside the code span while preserving the serialized header.

All 36 previous review threads are addressed and individually explained, including the explicit-stop and valid-refused-preview clarifications. The update also fixes adjacent default-off/credential/queue/adapter wording and synchronizes the latest picker, Antigravity quota and five-slot subagent documentation.
The description now contains current local validation, the root-suite scope exception, immutable browser evidence and exact-head CI authorization status. Keep this PR Draft for owner/localization acceptance. The new review outcome remains to be assessed.
Needs fixes before this can land: resolve dev conflicts while preserving all shards; correct whitespace-only handling in PR file es/reference/adapters.md:104 to match dev’s reference/adapters.md:241; obtain human Spanish acceptance and fresh CI.
Still needed on dev: yes — docs-site/astro.config.mjs:64 has no Spanish locale. This is the docs-site split requested from #7406.
Exact-head CI at triage time: 44d4bbe — reported checks pass; Cross-platform CI, React Doctor and Codex queue helpers are action_required. lane=all on exact head: no.
Please refresh onto current dev when addressing these; heads older than dev need a fresh exact-head CI run before review.

Preserved all eight upstream test-layout shards byte-for-byte and appended the documentation shard. The layout guards pass.
Corrected the adapter paragraph to distinguish nonblank strings from empty/whitespace-only strings, matching canonical English and the existing runtime regression cases.
Synchronized Spanish with the intervening English changes, including JEV session pinning/strategy preservation, Antigravity account model availability, provider updates, Hermes affinity, native effort normalization and Remote Link readiness/diagnostics.
Local validation: 512 focused docs/layout/structure/hygiene/adapter/export tests plus 9 file-size tests passed; after the last dev merge, another 143 teardown/auth regressions passed. Final Spanish guard recheck: 15 passed, 2,138 assertions. Typecheck, structure and privacy checks pass. Final offline docs build: 667 pages, 97,690 internal links checked. The updated description documents commands, the full-root-suite resource exception, earlier screenshots and this refresh's screenshot-service limitation.
Human Spanish/render acceptance remains pending, so the PR stays Draft. The new exact-head Cross-platform CI, React Doctor and Codex queue helpers require maintainer authorization. Please authorize the fork runs and arrange the lane=all exact-head validation requested in triage. The current automatic CodeRabbit success status says the Draft review was skipped; it is not fresh review evidence.
Please review the complete current head f4cead0f67c7897161a2bf0c2c0a180f7757c706, including Spanish semantic parity and the preserved test-layout shards.
Point the Spanish code-signing link to the Spanish policy page.
On /es/, this link uses base, so it opens the English policy at /reference/code-signing/. A Spanish policy page exists at es/reference/code-signing.md. Use the locale prefix only for Spanish. The other locales have no code-signing page, so applying prefix to every locale would send them to missing pages.

Inspect service ownership before documenting this sequence.
ocx service install must either adopt the running foreground proxy or start and verify a separate service-owned proxy. Otherwise, the two ocx ready --json checks can both observe the foreground process, while the installed service remains unable to serve after that process exits.
If installation does not transfer ownership safely, stop the foreground proxy before installation and verify readiness and status after the service starts.

f4cead0f67c7897161a2bf0c2c0a180f7757c706. Refreshed ontodevatceef4889e4666dc0492a375d272eafa5b785361e(2.93.0), including the owner's triage base2494848f56.
Explicit
ocx stopdoes stop an installed service before restoring native Codex; a successfully inspected but refused preview can exit 0 without applying a change. Those two review premises were qualified with source evidence rather than changing documented behavior incorrectly.Human Spanish acceptance: Federico (the contributing author,
federicorv25) confirmed after reviewing: “Ya lo revisé y acepto el español.” This records human language acceptance by the contributor; it is not independent maintainer approval or a native Desktop test.Keep Draft pending fresh review, authorized exact-head CI, and maintainer acceptance.
System Bun 1.4.4; tests use repository-pinned Bun 1.4.3 from the verified official archive, through the isolated

Documentation guards cover locale paths, Markdown command/fence parity, identifiers, API statuses, links, names, and placeholders.

The isolated official Bun 1.4.3 binary is in ignored scratch space at the path shown above; point

Hosted CI for this exact head: Cross-platform CI, React Doctor, and Codex queue helpers report
action_required; a maintainer must authorize the fork runs and arrange the requestedlane=all. Target/hygiene/label checks remain queued at inspection; an earlier label attempt was cancelled and superseded. GitHub reports this head mergeable againstceef4889e; approval/check requirements still block integration. CodeRabbit now reports “Review in progress” after the explicit full-review request. No passing hosted CI or completed fresh review is claimed.Browser evidence: actual-browser DOM checks confirmed the corrected adapter paragraph, the new JEV section, Spanish
langmetadata, mobile navigation, and no horizontal page overflow in the inspected 1366px/390px views. The screenshot service failed even on a fresh tab, so this refresh has no new screenshot or fresh visual-acceptance claim. The captures below are explicitly the preceding reviewed head's evidence, retained as context. Personal Desktop/configuration/provider credentials were not used.Earlier mobile and landing evidence

Review readiness checklist
The known valid nonblank finding is fixed, and the contributor's human Spanish acceptance is recorded above. Fresh review, authorized exact-head CI (including the owner's requested
lane=all), and maintainer approval remain outstanding. The final-render evidence limitation is documented above. The last two readiness boxes intentionally remain unchecked.Summary by CodeRabbit
