Delegated accounts can be returned to their original owners when undelegation is enabled during commitment proposal and the commitment is finalized. Account data, balances, and ownership are restored, and delegation state is cleared.
Empty system-owned accounts can be returned without an owner-program callback.
Undelegation is rejected when there is no eligible requester or account data exceeds the supported size limit.
Rent from the delegation state is returned to its payer.
The change adds a v2 undelegation instruction and builder. Commitment proposals can record undelegation permission, and finalization can set the requester to Validator. The processor validates the request, returns the delegated account to its owner, and closes delegation state. Integration tests cover successful returns and selected rejection cases. The pull request template also has revised summary and issue-closure prompts.

Objective
Addressed
Explanation
[#266] Add the shared v2 instruction, builder, processor, PDA support, and focused tests for validator-requested undelegation.
✅
[#266] Carry validator-requested permission through Challenge commitment state and finalization.
✅
[#266] Meet the requirements for paused clusters, Challenge terminal-account cleanup, SDK callback compatibility, fee handling, and unchanged legacy behavior.
❓
The supplied change summaries do not establish whether these requirements are enforced. The summaries also do not confirm Challenge terminal-account cleanup or SDK callback-helper compatibility.

Code Change
Explanation
Replace the pull request template prompts (.github/pull_request_template.md:1-8)
The template change is unrelated to the v2 undelegation objectives in #266.
Merge Risk: Moderate · up to 96f97
The new validator-requested undelegation path may not be reachable for accounts finalized through Challenge, because the requester is recorded in a different place than the one undelegation reads. Upgrading with pending commitments already live could also break their approval, dispute, or finalization. Resolve or explicitly accept both before merging. The PR template formatting issue is minor.

Synchronize validator undelegation with DelegationState.
Challenge finalization writes UndelegationRequester::Validator only to DelegationMetadataFast. It does not receive or update the v2 DelegationState account. The v2 process_undelegate reads DelegationState.undelegation_requester() and returns NotUndelegatable when it is None.
apply_commit_finalize updates DelegationState, but its only callers are the Direct finalization instructions. Update Challenge finalization to persist the requester in DelegationState, then add an end-to-end test that proposes, approves, finalizes, and undelegates with allow_undelegation = true.

Add the shared validator-authorized undelegation path backed by DelegationState. Return account ownership in place through the existing owner callback contract, verify the restored bytes and lamports, and close temporary state to its rent payers.
Carry allow_undelegation through challenge commitments and add focused tests for paused-cluster exits, callback seed encoding, requester validation, allocation limits, and challenge finalization.

Preserve pending commitments across upgrades.
If this upgrade can follow an existing v2 deployment, an old pending commitment can remain live when the program changes. The unchanged v2pend00 discriminator does not distinguish the old layout from the new layout. The new decoder then uses shifted offsets and can fail when approval, dispute, or finalization processes the old account.
Version or migrate the layout, or drain all pending commitments before the upgrade.

Add a wrong-validator rejection test.
The success tests use the cluster’s current validator. The rejection tests change the requester, but never change the signer. Submit this instruction with a different, funded validator and assert DlpError::InvalidAuthority. Also assert that the delegated account and delegation state remain unchanged.
Based on learnings, new critical logic should have focused tests for its error paths.
