What changed
Expose published retained slot bounds through
blocks().retained_range()so validator RPCs can account for ledger pruning without querying each block. The range comes from existing metadata and is absent for an empty ledger.Refs magicblock-labs/magicblock-validator#1888. The Aperture changes will follow separately.
Reviewer notes
The range assumes consecutive slots from our controlled producers. Its upper bound reflects ledger publication and can briefly lead the asynchronous block index.
Existing tests now cover empty history, an empty head after rotation, and the boundary advancing after pruning. All 30 targeted Engine tests passed.
