There are no tags or releases and the version is a hardcoded 0.1.0 in setup.py.

  1. Add a CHANGELOG.md (Keep a Changelog format).
  2. Single-source the version (for example from a __version__ or from VCS tags).
  3. Tag releases and publish via a GitHub Actions workflow using trusted publishing to PyPI.
