File, syslog and network handlers can block the calling thread. Add use_queue=True to route records through logging.handlers.QueueHandler with a QueueListener owning the real handlers, plus a documented shutdown() that stops the listener and flushes. This matters for latency-sensitive and embedded or edge workloads.
