Switching projects now preserves sidebar positions instead of promoting the active project. Users can drag icons or use Alt + Up/Down to save their preferred order. Project navigation is seeded before the first render to avoid an empty rail between local project addresses; the header uses the project name without a redundant dropdown, and project icons use soft purple.
Tag authors now have a master roster and selected author saved for the local OS user, reused across projects and browser addresses. The same author UUID is added to project annotations when needed, so attribution travels with the project folder while existing tags retain their original authors.
Validation: isolated commit snapshot passes 231 frontend tests, 650 backend tests (5 native cases skipped locally), and the production build. Browser checks cover project switching without reordering, pointer and keyboard rearranging, saved order after reload, and choosing an author once then opening another project without another prompt. CI also runs native MySQL lifecycle and project transfer on Apple Silicon.
All three CI checks passed on commit 61f9e44: frontend, backend regression checks, and Apple Silicon native project lifecycle and transfer.
