AI Triage: Match Approved! (Fit Score: 4.1/3.5, Grade: fit:A)
Reasoning:
You're a strong candidate for this role, Martin. Your 8+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, particularly with Python, distributed systems, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps, aligns very well with the general software engineering needs at Google, especially concerning massive scale systems. Your leadership and mentoring experience also make you an excellent fit for the seniority. Your location in Seattle, WA, and preference for hybrid work perfectly match the job's implied hybrid/onsite nature and benefits for Seattle residents. The provided salary range, bonus, and equity seem competitive for your experience level. The primary gap is the explicit requirement for 1 year of experience in a specialized ML field (Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or NLP). While you have strong Python skills, your resume doesn't explicitly detail experience in these specific ML domains or deep ML infrastructure specialization, which is a core responsibility. However, given your strong foundational backend and platform engineering skills, this could be an area for growth if you're interested in pivoting or learning, as your general software engineering capabilities are exceptional.
