Summary

Add on-demand crossword automation using native Decision models as an alternative to generating a complete page schema. Users can select Decision in the extension’s crossword-mode setting; Generative remains the default.

Changes

• Add native Azure and Copilot Decision clients with typed configuration, response validation, cancellation and request deadlines.
• Discover visible crossword regions and select clues from bounded candidates, with token-aware batching and smaller-batch recovery for Azure 422 responses.
• Connect Decision mode through the browser agent, extension and frame-routing layers.
• Support enterText with verified grid writes and getClue with literal clue-body selection only when requested.
• Cache discovered regions and resolved clues, reuse cached body reads without additional model calls, and invalidate cached state when puzzle content changes.
• Add self-contained licensed fixtures, explicit test dependencies, automated coverage and documented setup commands.

Validation performed

• Full repository build passed.
• 1,038 targeted tests passed across the Decision client, configuration, browser and extension surfaces, including offline Chromium coverage.
• Live installed-extension scenarios passed
