Before further work on this PR, could you confirm whether the public This PR adds a public API and RPC messages, so I do not want to assume the older open issue establishes an exception. If a narrower compatibility or documentation fix would be appropriate instead, please let me know the preferred scope. I will hold further implementation changes pending that guidance. |
