Summary

  • updateListItem suspends requestLayout while a recycled cell is re-bound, then resumes with _resumeNativeUpdates(0, true, true, true). The fourth argument belongs to an older signature and is ignored by the Akylas core fork: remove it and document that resuming replays the layout requests made during the update.
  • The actual fix for cells keeping the previous item's size (seen on Mac Catalyst) is in the core fork: fix(ios): request layout on height changes and replay it when resuming native updates Akylas/NativeScript#10 (height changes did not request a layout on iOS, and the suspended request was never replayed on resume).

Testing

No automated test (needs iOS cell recycling). Checked manually in the weather app on Mac Catalyst together with Akylas/NativeScript#10.

updateListItem suspends requestLayout while the item is bound, then resumes with the layout
request replayed (Akylas core fork). Drop the fourth argument passed to _resumeNativeUpdates:
it comes from an older signature and is ignored by the current one.
