Hi, I'm trying to understand what motivates this proposal. Is it that our prompting for this info in the quarterly reports to the TAC hasn't been effective? Or is it that it isn't detailed enough? You want them all in a central place? Something else?

This is specifically for funded TI proposals. We need a way to keep track of their progress and spending.

LGTM. We might also want to add a reference to the quarterly report template where we ask about TI funding to make this more visible.

LGTM. Thank you.. I suppose the template will be added in a future PR?

Just so folks don't get confused between the funding updates (for those who have open funding requests) and the quarterly updates (for all TIs).

Each award has its own dedicated folder. Each folder contains:

Is the template coming later? Or did you want to include that in this pull request?

Ideally I think once a funding request goes through the initial TAC evaluation / approval, the ongoing update conversations would happen with staff (usually the road bumps funded work goes through are more procedural and less technical). But we don't (yet?) have a staff repository.

All that's to say that the conversation should probably take place between staff and the funded work, but I suppose if the content is in the TAC repo that TAC should be the folks to do a final review and merge.

Changed to reflect review by OSSF staff.

Updated reviewer from TAC to OSSF staff per Zach's suggestion.
