What and why
This is the v1.19.0 release cut, a minor release on the v1 line with additive changes only. It moves
[Unreleased]under[1.19.0] - 2026-10-03, adds the compare link, and points the README install snippet at v1.19.0.The release contains:
(*socrate.Client).ServiceToken. Its expiry comes from the token'sexp, or else fromexpires_incounted from the request. Aclient_credentialsresponse without anaccess_tokenis now an error (fail closed).socrate.User.TokenVersionandsocrate.User.Locked, filled from Socrate v1.8.0 on.jwtauth.WithAudiences.After merge, tag
v1.19.0onmain; theReleaseworkflow publishes it.How it was tested
The code is unchanged since #79, which passed the full gate in CI. On this branch I ran
go build ./...,go vet ./...andgo test ./socrate/.go mod tidy && git diff --exit-code go.sumleavesgo.sumunchanged (no dependency change)go build ./...passesgo vet ./...passesgo test -race -count=1 -timeout=120s ./...passes (CI; locally on feat(socrate): User.TokenVersion and User.Locked from the member look-up #79)golangci-lint run ./...(v2.14.0) reports no issue (CI)govulncheck ./...reports no vulnerability (CI)[Unreleased]section is moved under[1.19.0]inCHANGELOG.mdCompatibility
ServiceToken,User.TokenVersionandUser.Locked(from feat(socrate): export ServiceToken for calling other services as the app #78 and feat(socrate): User.TokenVersion and User.Locked from the member look-up #79).client_credentialsresponse without anaccess_tokenis now an error (a working caller never received one). A token response with neitherexpnorexpires_inis now cached for one minute instead of 55.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
