Summary

register_ci_test/CIT_Base already let you plug your own — or a
third-party library's — conditional independence test into CIT() and use
it by name from pc/fci/cdnod, but it's currently undocumented outside
a docstring in cit.py. This adds a page to the independence-tests docs,
plus a real-world example: the causal-ts
library's GPU-accelerated CI tests, which register through this exact
mechanism.

No code changes — this is docs-only (register_ci_test already ships and
works as-is).

What's included

  • docs/source/independence_tests_index/custom_ci_tests.rst (new)
  • docs/source/independence_tests_index/index.rst — one-line toctree addition

kci_gpu numbers (NVIDIA L4) showing where the GPU tests pay off, and
where they do not.
