ruff-format v0.16.10 now formats Python code blocks in Markdown docs. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- astral-sh/setup-uv: v7 -> v10.2.0 (SHA pin; no floating major tags since v8) - pyvista/setup-headless-display-action: v4 -> v5 - hynek/build-and-inspect-python-package: v2 -> v3.0.1 (SHA pin; no floating major tags since v3) Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Python 3.10 reached end-of-life on 2026-10-01: requires-python >=3.11, classifier removed, ruff target-version py311, docs updated. - Python 3.15 is in its RC phase: added a ubuntu-latest (3.15) pyqt6 CI job and the 3.15 classifier. - CI matrix main list ["3.10", "3.13"] -> ["3.11", "3.13"]; the ubuntu pyqt5 include row moves from 3.10 to 3.11. - numpy test markers: removed the always-false `< '3.11'` line and simplified the `>= '3.11' and < '3.13'` marker. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
UP036 removed the `sys.version_info >= (3, 11)` branch in `_get_name`; also removed the now-unreachable pre-3.11 `enum._decompose` fallback. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Main list ["3.11", "3.13"] -> ["3.11", "3.14"]; include rows each move up one version (macos lowest-direct 3.13, windows pyqt5 3.12, ubuntu pyqt6/pyside6 3.13). The ubuntu 3.14 pyqt6 row is now a main-matrix job and was removed. The windows lowest-direct pyside6 row stays on 3.11 to keep testing pyside6 6.4 (3.12+ requires pyside6>=6.7). docs/pages.ci: bump GitHub Actionsastral-sh/setup-uvv7 → v10.2.0, pinned by SHA (no floating@v8+ tags exist). Relevant breaking changes: v9 setsprune-cachedefault tofalse(larger GH cache usage); v10 disablesenable-cache: autofor sensitive events, which doesn't affect us since we setenable-cache: trueon push/PR events.pyvista/setup-headless-display-actionv4 → v5 (qt: trueinput unchanged)hynek/build-and-inspect-python-packagev2 → v3.0.1, pinned by SHA (no floating@v3tag exists)chore: drop Python 3.10, add 3.15requires-python = ">=3.11", 3.10 classifier removed, rufftarget-version = "py311", "Python 3.11 and above" in README / CONTRIBUTING / docs.ubuntu-latest (3.15) pyqt6job.fix: shift CI matrix to 3.11/3.14): main list["3.10", "3.13"]→["3.11", "3.14"]. Include rows move up one version too: ubuntu pyqt5 3.10 → 3.11, windows pyqt5 3.11 → 3.12, macos lowest-direct 3.12 → 3.13, ubuntu pyqt6/pyside6 3.12 → 3.13. The ubuntu 3.14 pyqt6 row is now a main-matrix job, so it was removed. The windows lowest-direct pyside6 row stays on 3.11 because pyside6 ≥6.7 is required on 3.12+, and it's the only job testing pyside6 6.4.< '3.11'line and simplified>= '3.11' and < '3.13'to< '3.13'.refactor: modernize syntax for Python >= 3.11UP036 removed the

"3.15", with no extra flags. setup-uv/uv resolves it to the pre-release.Needs attention
windows-latest / 3.11 / pyside6 / lowest-directmatches an existing job, so GitHub turns that job into a lowest-direct run instead of adding a new one. The result is one fewer job: windows/3.11/pyside6 runs only lowest-direct. Windows pyside6 "highest" still runs on 3.14. There's a comment in the YAML.typing_extensionsremains a dependency (TypedDict,ParamSpecimports untouched; ruff didn't flag them).maintoo and weren't changed here.Superseded PRs
