The nightly-upgrade bot bumped docs/packages/pymssql.yaml to 2.4.2 but did not add patches/pymssql/2.4.2/, so the source-patch step's git apply failed with "No such file or directory" before the build could start. The upstream diff from v2.4.1 to v2.4.2 is a connection-timeout fix in src/pymssql/_mssql.pyx plus its stub-server test; pyproject.toml and the licence layout are unchanged, and the patch applies cleanly against the v2.4.2 tag (verified with git apply --check), so it is copied unchanged to patches/pymssql/2.4.2/.
