Rootform source is recognized by independent VS Code and Zed clients. Each client launches an explicitly configured executable (or
rootformon PATH) withlsp, without a shell, automatic acquisition, bundled executable, or provider execution. VS Code honors workspace trust and serializes server lifecycle operations; Zed packages its own pinned grammar and WASM extension.The complete three-commit source history was reviewed before this first publication. Apache-2.0 and all third-party notices are included. Local package verification passed: VS Code build and six lifecycle tests; two Rust tests, three grammar tests, and the WASM build. The VSIX contains 18 files and no Rootform executable. Prior real-server and native editor evidence remains applicable to this unchanged client source; qualification with the new downloaded GitHub candidate is tracked separately and is still pending.
Validation:
bun run verify, VSIX packaging, full public-history secret and private-boundary review. Hosted package CI must pass before merge. No marketplace publication is included.
