Put Upflow2x under the PolyForm Shield License 1.0.0. The repo had no license, so the terms weren't written down anywhere.
LICENSE.md is the official PolyForm Shield 1.0.0 text, unchanged, with a "Required Notice: Copyright 2026 Ali Tleis" line on top. The README has a new Licence section above Credits. Anyone can use Upflow2x for anything, including paid client work, and read, change and share the code. Nobody can use it to make a competing product, free ones included. The RIFE, Real-ESRGAN, Hero and Kenney credits keep their own licences.
The release zips don't get a new file, because installed updaters check what a release contains. The README ships in the zips with the Required Notice line and a link to the full terms, which is what the license's Notices section asks for. The release folders are rebuilt, and only their README changed.
GitHub doesn't recognise PolyForm Shield, so the repo sidebar won't name it.
Validation: the full pytest suite passes. The plain release build gives 23 files per platform and leaves update/latest.json unchanged. Both zips contain the Required Notice line, and LICENSE.md matches the upstream text byte for byte.
