Summary

This pull request adds the features.user_connections property (is_enabled, auth_hosts) to the v1 and v2 manifest schemas, so editors stop flagging manifests that opt into standardized app authentication.

Testing

  • Open a manifest.json in VS Code with "$schema" pointing at this branch's schemas/manifest.schema.2.0.0.json, add features.user_connections with is_enabled and auth_hosts, and confirm it autocompletes with no warning.
  • Drop auth_hosts, or add a host like https://example.com, and confirm the editor flags it.

Category

  • manifest.schema.json edit
  • /schema and/or its core components
  • Others

Requirements

  • I've read and agree to the Code of Conduct.
  • I've run ./scripts/install_all_and_run_tests.sh after making the changes.

Adds features.user_connections (is_enabled, auth_hosts) to the v1 and v2
schemas so editors stop flagging manifests that opt into standardized app
authentication. Constraints mirror Slack's own manifest validation: both
fields required, no extra keys, and auth_hosts as bare hosts.
