The Changes tab currently requires switching to the Information tab to read the complete commit message. Show it in a scrollable pane above the diff, with a splitter to resize the pane and an expand/collapse toggle that reduces it to a single subject line. Remember the expanded height and collapsed state.
Reuse the existing commit-message formatting, links, and copy actions. Reset message scrolling when the commit changes and prevent an earlier asynchronous message request from replacing the current selection's message.
