Record received devices directly from a saved installation plan using the shared inventory editor, committing actual fields, material allocation and required holds atomically.
Automatically check lost save results without repeating creation. Coordinate browser tabs per material unit so an unavailable old result does not block other devices, and reuse the ordinary inventory picker when needed.
Preserve the enclosing plan and unrelated draft input, retain actual fields after rejection, and support independent record-and-next entry with current access checks.
Testing
Validation covers disk-backed Rust receipt regressions, formatting, Clippy, Vue builds, documentation checks and real Chromium desktop, phone and keyboard journeys. Required CI provides the full platform matrix and CodeQL.
Record actual device fields and an exact material allocation atomically from
the shared inventory editor. Keep creation context distinct from planned
placement, preserve draft input and support independent record-and-next entry.
Recover original results without repeating creation. Coordinate browser tabs
per material unit, preserve uncertain expired outcomes and use ordinary
inventory selection when a saved result is unavailable.

Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Create a device while receiving a physical-plan item, recording its actual details and assigning it to the selected unit in one step.
Record items independently and move to the next unit while preserving completed receipts.
Recover receipt results after interrupted saves and open the created or recovered inventory item.
Find and assign an existing device when a receipt cannot be confirmed.
Search permitted inventory for devices that match a material requirement, and view allocation details.
Documentation
Clarified receipt workflows, recovery behavior, and how receipt details differ from planned specifications.
This change adds a physical-plan workflow that creates a Device from entered actual fields and assigns it to a selected material unit. It adds receipt outcome replay and recovery, browser-side recovery references, planner and editor integration, and store and browser tests.
Changes: Physical Plan Device Receipts
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Receipt contract and outcome records proto/omloom/v1/workspace.proto, crates/omloom-contracts/build.rs, crates/omloom-store/src/disk/workspace/addresses/knowledge.rs
The physical API adds device receipt, outcome lookup, and recovery actions and view fields. Store outcomes record the plan, material, and unit for receipt replay.
Store receipt, replay, and recovery crates/omloom-store/src/disk.rs, crates/omloom-store/src/disk/workspace/working.rs, crates/omloom-store/src/disk/workspace/physical.rs, crates/omloom-store/src/disk/workspace/physical/receiving.rs, crates/omloom-store/src/disk/workspace/physical/receiving/tests.rs, crates/omloom-store/tests/workspace/physical*
The store admits plan operands, validates and commits device receipts, records allocations and receipt outcomes, and handles replay and recovery. Tests cover access, conflicts, concurrency, cleanup, restore, and plan state.
Browser receipt state and device entry web/app/receipt-reference.ts, web/app/ReceivedDevice.vue, web/app/AssetEditor.vue
The browser stores receipt recovery references and uses them to coordinate submission and recovery. The editor supports inline device receipt entry, validation, and “Record and next.”
The planner and materials view select and receive eligible plan units, then refresh plan state. Browser tests cover receipt and recovery workflows; inventory documentation describes the receipt paths.

Merge Risk: Low · previous review f8c96
If two units submit at the same revision and one reply is lost, the browser can report the wrong unit as received and drop its recovery reference. This is a narrow concurrent case that is easy to fix by comparing the returned material and unit with the saved reference. It should be fixed or consciously accepted, but it is not a broad merge blocker.

Explanation
[63] The shared editor and picker support actual device fields and existing-card reuse. receive_device creates and allocates one unit in one transaction, using existing material receipt checks. Receipt outcomes support replay and recovery without repeating creation. The planner preserves drafts and supports independent Record and next entries. Disk-backed tests cover rollback, rights, concurrency, replay, expiry, and restore. Browser tests cover desktop and phone journeys, recovery, and the request comparison. The PR reports keyboard validation.

Explanation
Docstring coverage is 2.04% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 49 functions across 13 files. - Around line 223-229: Update receipt_outcome to validate the receipt using the
retained outcome’s actor and plan binding rather than requiring the plan record
to still exist. Preserve the current device-rights check and return the retained
created device identity when the terminal plan has been cleaned up.
Review comments at @web/app/AssetEditor.vue:
- Line 364: Update the save function so the “Record and next” action validates
the form before calling save(true), and returns without submitting when required
fields are invalid. Preserve the existing save behavior for other actions.
Review comments at @web/app/PhysicalPlanner.vue:
- Around line 85-88: When receipt allocations change in the PhysicalPlanner
receipt-completion flow, refresh or invalidate the selected unit so the
receiving form does not retain a now-allocated unit after a concurrent plan-name
edit. Preserve the existing revision and conflict checks around updating
allocations.
- Around line 245-249: Update the URL plan-loading flow around `invoke` and
`acceptPlan` so a failed load does not prevent `opened` from becoming true.
Report the load failure and let the planner’s plan list and editor remain
available without repeatedly retrying the same invalid URL plan.
- Around line 139-143: In the allocation response handling, invalidate
revision-dependent review results when the returned revision differs from the
current revision. Clear assessment, reviewHypotheses, and quality results before
updating revision, then preserve the existing planItems update.
