[deps] Review and update dependencies outside PyModbus #17

Background

The current lock file was generated with Poetry 1.8.3 and contains older development/documentation tooling and transitive dependencies. PyModbus has its own API migration issue and should remain unchanged in this task.

Scope

• Review the remaining locked dependencies, including development, documentation, and transitive packages, for supported releases, Python compatibility, and known security or maintenance concerns.
• Update safe compatible dependencies and adjust version constraints only where needed.
• Keep the project's supported Python range at >=3.10,<4.0.
• Do not upgrade PyModbus or mix in its API migration.
• Regenerate poetry.lock and any generated requirements/export files so dependency metadata stays consistent.

Acceptance criteria

• Summarize the dependency changes and any packages intentionally left pinned, with reasons.
• poetry check --lock passes and generated dependency files are consistent.
• make check, the test suite, and the documentation build pass.
• The tox matrix passes on Python 3.10, 3.11, 3.12, 3.13, and 3.14.
• The change contains no application behavior changes.
