Makes "your documents never leave your device" more visible across the landing page, search results, link previews and the README.

Changes

  • Landing page: new section "Your documents stay with you" / "Ihre Dokumente bleiben bei Ihnen", directly below the first screen. It has four cards: no upload (CSP), works offline (single HTML file), nothing stored or shared, verifiable (open source, Network tab). The intro sets this against online comparison services and mentions confidential contracts and GDPR. The trust line now leads with "No upload · Works offline".

  • SEO: the meta title and description now say "locally, without uploading" and "works offline". scripts/build.py adds the four privacy points to the JSON-LD featureList.

  • Link previews: og-image(-en).png and the launch cover 0-cover.png are re-rendered. They now say "Your files never leave your device", and the chips read "No upload · Works offline · Open source".

  • README: a short privacy block near the top that links to the full Privacy section.

  • Dark mode flash: a tiny inline script in <head> sets the dark class before the first paint. Before, the app script at the end of the ~3 MB body set it, so the page painted light first and the drop zones and buttons faded to dark. check.mjs allows exactly this one small head script; the large scripts must still follow the landing content.

  • Release: version 1.6.4 with docs/releases/v1.6.4.md.

The first screen is unchanged in height: the trust line stays on one line. The new section sits below the arrow.

Checks

  • python3 scripts/build.py and node scripts/check.mjs pass. The German meta description is within the 160-character limit.
  • Checked visually: the new section at desktop width (2×2 grid) and at phone width (one column), the first screen at 1366×760, and both OG images.

The app script sits at the end of the ~3 MB body, so in dark mode the
page painted light first and the drop zones and buttons faded to dark.
A tiny inline script in <head> now sets the class up front. check.mjs
allows exactly this one small head script; the large scripts must still
follow the landing content.
