Description
This proposal aims to improve the interoperability of the built-in primitives for streaming:
HTML Enhanced Setter and Streaming Methods: Exposes a coherent set of HTML-setting methods to replace disjointed legacy APIs. The Setter methods are covered in #1416. This proposal includes streaming setter methods (streamHTML(), streamReplaceWithHTML(), streamBeforeHTML(), streamPrependHTML(), streamAppendHTML() and streamAfterHTML() DOM methods, and unsafe equivalents) alongside their *Unsafe variants.
Combined with <template for="…"> HTML element, these features give developers built-in, secure, and ergonomic mechanisms to dynamically update and stream DOM content.
