Summary

  • Adds src/content/docs/404.mdx, which Starlight uses in place of its built-in 404 page (the build no longer prints Entry docs → 404 was not found).
  • Splash layout with the YAPTIDE logo, a "Back to developer docs" button, a "Report a broken link" link to this repo's issues, cards for popular pages (Frontend Demo setup, System Overview, API Reference), and a pointer to the user docs.
  • pagefind: false keeps it out of search results; editUrl: false hides the "Edit page" link.

Notes

The build prints a new warning: Could not render /404 from route /[...slug] as it conflicts with higher priority route /404. This is expected: Starlight's catch-all docs route also sees the 404 entry, and Astro keeps Starlight's dedicated 404 route, which renders this page. dist/404.html contains the custom content.

Test plan

  • npm run build passes
  • dist/404.html contains the custom hero, actions and cards
  • Open a non-existent URL on the Pages preview after deploy

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Replace Starlight's default 404 with a YAPTIDE-branded splash page that
links back to the docs home, popular pages, the user docs, and the issue
tracker for reporting broken links.
