GoChart - Charter Flight Management System

A web application for Part 135 charter operators to manage their fleet and plan trips efficiently.

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16 or higher)
• npm (v7 or higher)
• MapBox API key

Setup

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/zakarlyya/gochart.git
cd gochart

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Create a .env file in the root directory with the following variables:

PORT=5000
JWT_SECRET=your_jwt_secret_key_here
MAPBOX_TOKEN=your_mapbox_token_here
VITE_MAPBOX_TOKEN=your_mapbox_token_here

4. Start the development server:

npm run dev

The application will be available at:

• Frontend: http://localhost:5173
• Backend: http://localhost:5000

• Backend: Express.js
• Database: SQLite
• Map: MapBox GL JS
• Styling: Tailwind CSS
