Validate the issue pre-flight report with 10–15 developers

Goal

Validate whether an evidence-backed issue pre-flight report improves a developer's pursue/review/skip decision before building the full MVP.

Materials

The validation kit is proposed in the product/validation-kit branch under docs/validation/.

Tasks

• Recruit 10–15 representative participants.
• Ask each participant to bring a real public GitHub issue.
• Record decision and confidence before the report.
• Show the static report prototype.
• Complete one feedback scorecard per participant.
• Record whether a second issue is actually analyzed.
• Review evidence after every 3–5 sessions.
• Complete the final Phase 0 decision log.
• Approve, revise, reposition, or stop before creating the full MVP backlog.

Success criteria

• At least 8/12 representative participants find the report clearer than their current process.
• At least 5 decisions change or become materially more confident because of cited evidence.
• At least 6 participants choose to analyze another issue.
• No critical section is misunderstood by more than 20% of participants.

Use public issues only. Do not collect tokens, private repository content, or unnecessary personal data. Obtain permission before recording.
