Respect the workbook date system.
For a 1904-date-system workbook, this mapping sends format 17 values to
DateTime.FromOADatewithout the workbook epoch. For example, serial39267represents July 5, 2011, but the conversion returns July 4, 2007. Read the workbook’sdate1904setting and use it during conversion. (support.microsoft.com)Correct early 1900 serials.
In the 1900 date system, Excel serial
1means January 1, 1900.DateTime.FromOADate(1)returns December 31, 1899, so format 17 now returns the wrong month and year for that cell. Adjust serials 1 through 59 for Excel’s 1900 leap-year behavior. (learn.microsoft.com)Script executed:
rg -n 'ConvertCellValue|ConvertValueByStyleFormat|SharedString|CellType|FromOADate' src/MiniExcel.OpenXml/Reader src/MiniExcel.OpenXml/StylesRepository: mini-software/MiniExcel
Length of output: 3548

Preserve numeric text cells.
ConvertValueByStyleFormatconverts any value whose text parses as an OADate. It does not check whether the source cell was numeric. Therefore, a shared, inline, or calculated string such as"00123"that retains format 17 can be returned asDateTimeinstead of text.Apply date conversion only to numeric values, and add a regression test for numeric text with format 17.
