Summary

Fixes the Vercel AI Gateway budget bugs found during the 0.80 desktop proofs, which ran against a paginating mock of /ai-gateway/budgets/list.

  • Pagination end and stop messages (rust/src/providers/vercel/budget.rs). An empty-string nextCursor now ends the list, like null. A repeated cursor and the 20-page cap each have their own plain message instead of "Parse error: Vercel returned an unrecognized personal budget." A cursor that isn't a string is still a parse error. Upstream vercel-budget.js fails on ""; here it is treated as the end of the list.
  • No pace or reserve on spend budgets. Vercel budgets are marked with with_non_authoritative_pace(), the typed flag LiteLLM budgets already use. pace_authoritative: false now reaches the frontend, so neither side shows "in reserve", "Lasts until reset" or "now 50%" for them.
  • Spend / Limit / Remaining styled. In Settings these use the existing provider-detail-grid. CSS added for provider-usage-inventory, which had none.
  • Credential Storage counts access tokens. New app-wide "Access tokens" row, covering Vercel access tokens and OpenRouter management keys, in all 10 locales. It shows the settings.json protection while a token is stored. Revoke Stored Credentials now also clears the selected provider's access token, so the row is right after a revoke. The summary refreshes right after a token is saved or removed. The token value never reaches the frontend.
  • Proof mock: cookie-source options are returned only for providers with a cookieDomain. The real app already hid the picker for Vercel; only the mock showed it. A Rust test asserts that every provider offering cookie options has a cookie domain.

Checks

  • cargo fmt --all -- --check: clean
  • cargo clippy on both manifests with --all-targets -- -D warnings: pass
  • cargo test: rust 5256 passed, Tauri 788 passed
  • pnpm test: 1565 passed (163 files). One TrayPanel.test.tsx failure while cargo ran in parallel; it passed on a solo rerun, and that file is untouched here.
  • pnpm run build: pass; pnpm proof:check: 43/43 PASS (Chromium, mocked IPC)

Windows proof

A CUA run on a fresh build against the paginating Vercel mock follows in a comment.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Provider settings now show the storage status of access tokens.
    • Credential storage status refreshes after successfully saving or removing a Vercel or OpenRouter credential.
    • Usage details are presented in a clearer label-and-value layout, with progress bars alongside their values.
  • Bug Fixes

    • Vercel budget information no longer displays pace or reserve estimates.
    • Cookie-source choices appear only for providers that support them.
    • Revoking provider credentials also clears a stored management token.

📝 Walkthrough

The changes update Vercel budget pagination and pace reporting, provider usage detail rendering, access-token storage status and refresh behavior, and cookie-source option availability.

Changes: Vercel usage reporting

Layer / File(s) Summary
Vercel budget pagination and pace metadata
rust/src/providers/vercel/budget.rs, rust/src/providers/vercel/budget_tests.rs
Vercel budget pagination handles empty cursors, repeated cursors, and page-limit exhaustion. Budget results are marked as non-authoritative for pace.
Pace authority propagation
apps/desktop-tauri/src/types/bridge/usage.ts, apps/desktop-tauri/src-tauri/src/commands/bridge.rs, apps/desktop-tauri/src-tauri/src/commands/bridge/pace.rs, apps/desktop-tauri/src/lib/providerPace.ts, apps/desktop-tauri/src/components/MenuCard.tsx, apps/desktop-tauri/src/surfaces/settings/providers/sections/UsageDetailsSection.tsx, related tests and fixtures
The bridge carries a false pace-authority flag. The pace helper and its callers use the flag to suppress pace details when it is false.
Provider usage detail rendering
apps/desktop-tauri/src/components/ProviderDisplayRow.tsx, apps/desktop-tauri/src/surfaces/settings/providers/sections/UsageSection.tsx, apps/desktop-tauri/src/styles/providers-tab.css, related tests, fixtures, and proof scenarios
Usage details render as definition-list terms and values, with the progress bar inside its value. Styles set grid spacing and value wrapping.

Access-token storage status

Layer / File(s) Summary
Access-token status and credential revocation
apps/desktop-tauri/src-tauri/src/commands/provider_detail.rs, apps/desktop-tauri/src-tauri/src/commands/tests.rs, apps/desktop-tauri/src/types/bridge/usage.ts, apps/desktop-tauri/src/proof/router.ts, apps/desktop-tauri/src/i18n/keyGroups/core.ts, rust/src/locale.rs, rust/src/locale/*.ftl
The backend clears stored management API tokens when credentials are revoked and reports settings-file storage status when a token exists. The bridge and locale data include an access-token status label.
Credential change and status refresh
apps/desktop-tauri/src/surfaces/settings/providers/ProviderDetailPane.tsx, apps/desktop-tauri/src/surfaces/settings/providers/sections/CredentialsDispatcher.tsx, apps/desktop-tauri/src/surfaces/settings/providers/sections/CredentialStorageSection.tsx, apps/desktop-tauri/src/surfaces/settings/providers/sections/credentials/*, related tests and fixtures
Successful credential saves and removals trigger a callback. The provider detail pane reloads and displays the access-token storage status.

Cookie-source options

Layer / File(s) Summary
Cookie-source option availability
apps/desktop-tauri/src/proof/router.ts, apps/desktop-tauri/src-tauri/src/commands/tests/cookie_region_options.rs, apps/desktop-tauri/src/proof/router.test.ts, apps/desktop-tauri/src/surfaces/settings/providers/sections/CookieSourceSection.test.tsx
The proof router returns cookie-source choices only for providers with a cookie domain. Tests cover the returned options and section rendering.

A credential save or removal that finishes after the user switches providers can make the settings pane show the previous provider's details under the newly selected provider. Fix this before merge. The proof mock's access-token status is inconsistent but does not affect production behavior.

Full details: Provider Data Stays Siloed

Explanation

No silo violation was introduced. Provider identity fields remain matched by provider ID in the proof fixture (scenario.providers.find(candidate.providerId === providerId)) before mapping email, plan, and organization. The new inventory and display-detail fields use that same matched snapshot. The new access-token status reports only a generic storage-protection label, not a token, identity, plan, account label, or email. Changed production routing uses generic catalog lookup or ProviderId::all; the specific-provider references added outside provider code are tests. No new cross-provider data is shown, logged, persisted, or sent.

Full details: Secrets Handled Safely

Explanation

No changed path exposes a real secret. Vercel and OpenRouter values continue through Settings::save and rust/src/secure_file.rs; the new storage status returns only non-secret protection labels, and its test verifies that token values are absent. Vercel budget requests use the token only in bearer_auth; added errors use fixed text and do not include response bodies or cursors. The diff adds no logging, console output, snapshots, or plaintext credential writes. Revoke clears only CodexBar management tokens after the user activates the explicit revoke action.

Full details: No Unapproved Dependencies

Explanation

The pull-request diff changes no Cargo.toml, package.json, npm/yarn lockfile, pnpm lockfile, or Cargo.lock. It also contains no packageManager version change. Therefore, the explicit dependency failure conditions are not present.

Full details: Ui Changes Include Windows Proof

Explanation

The pull request changes visible UI behavior. The diff updates ProviderDisplayRow.tsx, providers-tab.css, CredentialStorageSection.tsx, ProviderDetailPane.tsx, and related settings components. The PR description includes a ## Windows proof note stating that a CUA run was performed on a fresh build against the paginating Vercel mock. This satisfies the required fresh Windows proof alternative to screenshots.

@coderabbitai Both findings are fixed.

  • Proof mock access-token state (ba5e4c5): get_credential_storage_status in src/proof/router.ts now reports accessTokens: "missing", which matches the mock's false answers from has_vercel_access_token and has_openrouter_management_api_key.
  • A stale credential reload replacing the selected provider (b20ff14): load now checks the selected provider through a ref after its awaits. A result for a provider that is no longer selected is dropped, along with its error and LOAD_FINISH. This covers onCredentialsChanged reloads and the gateway save. New test: ignores a credential reload that finishes after another provider was selected. It holds the Codex reload, switches to Claude, then resolves the old load and checks that Claude stays selected.

Checks: ProviderDetailPane and proof tests (58) pass, tsc --noEmit passes, and pnpm proof:check passes 43/43.

Desktop proof (Windows, CUA real pixels + CDP)

Proof-shim debug build of the p082 integration tree, proof mode, second monitor. Vercel and AI Gateway traffic went to a local paginating mock; the tokens were fake. No window took focus. The recheck used build 257cf7af, which includes ba5e4c5 and b20ff14.

Team ID Mock Card / result
proof_team_pg2 2 pages Personal budget 25% left, $60.00 / $80.00, Spend / Limit / Remaining grid
proof_team_pg3 3 pages 80% left, $50.00 / $250.00
proof_team_single 1 page 58% left, $42.00 / $100.00
proof_team_nomatch 1 page, no user row "No personal budget configured", no error
proof_team_loop repeated cursor "Vercel's budget list repeated a page cursor. …"
proof_team_many 20 pages, then stop "… more than 20 pages. …"
(no access token) /v1/credits Team credits $12.34 available
  • Budget requests used scopeType=user&limit=200 with the access token; /v1/credits used only the AI Gateway key. Leak count in the mock log: 0.
  • No pace or reserve text anywhere on the Vercel page.
  • Credential Storage: saving the access token in the UI flips "Access tokens" from "Not created" to "Protected (windows-dpapi-user)" at once.
  • Provider switch regression: saving the token and switching to Codex about 150 ms later shows the Codex pane. A 30 ms burst (save, Codex, Vercel, Claude) ends on the Claude pane, and the token stays saved.

Result: PASS. Known, pre-existing: after a bridge-only set_api_key, the API Key section still says "Not set" until it reloads.
