Summary

Adds Feature Vertices To Points (featureVerticesToPoints, Data Management › Features), the "extract vertices" item of the roadmap's vector tools (open). It writes a point at each vertex of a layer's features (a point layer's points are their own vertices), with the feature's attributes and four fields:

Field Meaning
orig_fid the OID of the feature the point came from, as in ArcGIS's tool of the same name
vertex_part the part of a multipart feature
vertex_part_ring the polygon ring: 0 for the outer ring, and for lines and points
vertex_part_index the place along the part or ring, from 0

The last three are named as in QGIS's Extract Vertices. GeoLibre's Extract vertices uses part_index and vertex_index instead (counting a polygon's rings as parts); happy to switch to its names if you'd rather the two projects match.

  • Honors the selection. A polygon ring's closing point isn't written twice. Tables are refused.
  • A new field whose name the input already has gets a suffix (vertex_part_2), as in Intersect and Spatial Join; the points keep the input's coordinate system.
  • Built in, so it runs in the browser without the GeoLibre runner. Not on the ribbon; it's in Analyze › Tools, Command Search, gp.run and the AI Assistant's geoprocessing skill.

Memory. Like Feature To Point there is no cap, but because each point copies its feature's attributes, a dense layer multiplies them by its vertex count, so the tool takes three precautions:

  • The vertices are counted first, so the points are allocated once at their final size (no doubling copies while the list grows).
  • The point list and each point's attributes are allocated fallibly (try_reserve_exact, as the renderer's perspective snapshot does), so running out of memory while they're built stops it with a message; the points built so far are freed before the message is.
  • In the web app, whose memory has a ceiling, it first estimates the points' memory (their rows, copied text, allocator overhead and the map's cache of a drawn feature) and asks the allocator for that and a quarter more in one block, freed at once. That sees the browser's real ceiling (2 GiB on some devices) and the free space inside memory, and refuses up front with a message if the memory isn't there. Off the web it skips the estimate; a desktop system that overcommits memory may still close the app when it runs out.

Measured on the debug CLI: linear time (about 0.13 µs a point) and 261–268 bytes a point for a layer with three attributes; the estimate is about 10% above that. Fallible allocation costs about 5–8% over ordinary allocation.

Docs: a table row and paragraph, with a gp.run example, in docs/user-guide/analysis.md (25 built-in tools), written like Intersect's; the tool count, now right, comes off ROADMAP.md's docs to-do; ROADMAP.md (Done) and GEOLIBRE_PARITY.md (vector tools: partial).

Testing

  • New tests: numbering across a polygon with a hole, a second polygon with an unclosed ring, multipart lines, points and multipoints; ids 1..n; orig_fid; the selection (looked up by layer name); a feature without geometry; a table refused; the coordinate system kept; same-named fields kept with the new ones suffixed; the browser headroom check and the point estimate's floor.
  • cargo xtask ci: 2,468 passed, 0 failed, 16 ignored, layers ok; pre-commit run --all-files: passed.
  • cargo clippy -D warnings: clean; clippy pedantic and nursery on the new code: two false positives only (a product name in a doc comment, and const fn for a function that's only constant off the web).
  • wasm32: the web app builds (through the repo's Dockerfile), which compiles the browser-only headroom check.
  • End to end, rustgis-cli run --sample with gp.run: Rivers → 1,147 points, Countries → 10,365 (named output), Cities → 243.
  • Independent reviews (the code twice, the docs against the other tools'); zensical build: no issues.

Related issue

No issue: the roadmap item is marked (open). Lands "extract vertices" (ROADMAP.md › vector tools); part of "More built-in vector tools" in GEOLIBRE_PARITY.md.

The memory precautions could become a shared helper for every tool that multiplies rows (Spatial Join one-to-many has none today); happy to propose that separately.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added Feature Vertices To Points, which creates a point for each input vertex and carries over feature attributes, along with fields identifying the source feature, part, ring, and vertex.
    • The tool honors selections, preserves the input coordinate system, omits duplicate polygon closing points, and handles multipart geometries. It avoids conflicts with existing attribute names and reports an error when the layer has no geometry or the browser cannot allocate enough memory.
  • Documentation
    • Updated the analysis guide and tool listings to include Feature Vertices To Points as a built-in tool.

Lands "extract vertices" from the roadmap's vector tools (open).

featureVerticesToPoints writes a point at each vertex of a layer's features (a point layer's
points are their own vertices, a multipoint's points its parts), honoring the selection, with
its feature's attributes, orig_fid (the feature's OID, linking the two as ArcGIS's tool does)
and vertex_part, vertex_part_ring and vertex_part_index, named as in QGIS's Extract Vertices.
Unlike QGIS's tool, a polygon ring's closing point isn't written twice. A new field whose name
the input already has gets a suffix (vertex_part_2), as in Intersect and Spatial Join, and the
points keep the input's coordinate system.

Like Feature To Point, it has no cap on its output. The vertices are counted first so the
points are allocated once at their final size, and the point list and each point's attributes
are allocated fallibly, so running out of memory while they're built stops the tool with a
message. In the web app, whose memory has a ceiling, it first estimates the points' memory
(their rows, copied text, allocator overhead and the map's cache of a drawn feature) and asks
the allocator for that and a quarter more in one block, refusing up front if it can't have it.

Docs: the tool in docs/user-guide/analysis.md (23 built-in tools), the AI Assistant's
geoprocessing skill, ROADMAP.md (Done, and the tool count, now right, off the docs to-do) and
GEOLIBRE_PARITY.md.

Explanation

The description follows the repository template and fills in its Summary and Testing sections in detail. It explains the new featureVerticesToPoints tool, its four output fields, selection handling, polygon ring-closing handling, field-name suffixing, and the memory precautions, including the browser-only headroom check. The Testing section lists new tests, cargo xtask ci results (2,468 passed, 0 failed, 16 ignored), clippy, the wasm32 build, and CLI end-to-end runs. The Related issue section says there is no issue and links the work to the roadmap item. The template's UI evidence section is absent. That omission is acceptable because the change adds a tool and does not alter visible UI layout, so no screenshots are required.

Code review

I found no bugs, security issues, or performance problems. The two inline comments below are nits. I checked the vertex numbering against for_each_vertex, closing-ring and multipoint handling, selection, negative-id wrapping, fallible allocation and its cleanup, the wasm headroom probe, field-name collisions, the Features assignment (no cached extent to go stale), hostile-parameter coverage (the test iterates TOOLS), the unwrap denial, and the rustfmt width (140).

Bugs

  • None found.

Security

  • None found.

Performance

  • None found. The two-pass count and build is intentional and cheap.

Quality

  • The wasm refusal message labels need.div_ceil(1 << 20) as "MB", but it is mebibytes. (crates/analysis/src/tools.rs:994, confidence high)
  • The memory test hard-codes 64 + 32 + 32, which pins Feature, Option<Geometry> and Extent layouts Rust doesn't guarantee. (crates/analysis/src/tools.rs:2653, confidence low)

AGENTS.md

  • Compliant on the checks I could verify: no unwrap/expect/panic in non-test code, no indexing, wasm-safe types, layering, and the docs say "23 built-in tools", which matches the 23 ToolSpec entries.
  • Unverified: docs/user-guide/analysis.md says QGIS's Extract Vertices writes a polygon's closing point and that this tool doesn't. I couldn't check QGIS offline. If that is wrong, the sentence needs rewording. (confidence low)

- Geometry's for_each_vertex, for_each_edge and vertex collected every part and ring into a
vector before walking them: an allocation the tool's memory estimate didn't count, and one
that couldn't fail with a message. They now walk the paths in place (for_each_path), and
vertex looks its path up as path_mut does. Part, ring and index numbering are unchanged.
- The memory test builds its expected size from size_of instead of pinning a 64-bit layout, so
it runs on every target and a change to Geometry's layout doesn't break it.

Accuracy, low-to-medium confidence (about 50%): the QGIS naming claim needs checking. As I recall, QGIS's Extract vertices writes vertex_index, vertex_part and vertex_part_index, and has no vertex_part_ring field. The "named as in QGIS" claim here, in the PR description and in docs/user-guide/analysis.md, and the "unlike QGIS's tool, it doesn't write a polygon ring's closing point" contrast, should each be checked against QGIS's source before merge. I couldn't verify either offline.

Claude autofix (unclear): I could not check QGIS's source from here, so I can't confirm the vertex_part_ring field name or the closing-point contrast. The claim appears in crates/analysis/src/tools.rs (VERTEX_FIELDS and its doc comment), docs/user-guide/analysis.md, and the PR description. Needs a check against QGIS's extractvertices source before merge.

Checked against QGIS's source (src/analysis/processing/qgsalgorithmextractvertices.cpp): it adds vertex_index, vertex_part, vertex_part_ring (polygon layers only) and vertex_part_index, plus distance and angle, and walks vertices_begin()..vertices_end(), which includes a ring's stored closing point. So the names and the closing-point contrast stand; this tool takes the last three names and adds orig_fid instead of vertex_index.

Code review

I read the full diff against the base-branch AGENTS.md. The tool is built as a ToolSpec, so hostile_params_never_panic covers it. Non-test code has no unwrap, expect, panic or indexing, and geometry.rs now walks geometry without allocating. I hand-checked the expected values in the new tests against the geometry (ids 1..10, the hole's and open ring's vertex positions, the multipoint and selection cases) and they match. I could not run the build or tests here.

Bugs

  • wasm memory probe caps at 2 GiB (medium, ~75%). Vec::try_reserve_exact fails above isize::MAX (about 2 GiB on wasm32). Estimates above roughly 1.6 GiB, including the quarter margin, are refused even where the browser could allocate more. The "4 GiB at most" in the doc comment is unreachable. See the inline comment on crates/analysis/src/tools.rs:971.

Security

  • None found. Input is only read through get, unwrap_or and try_from.

Performance

  • None blocking. out.features = points.into() wraps the Vec in an Arc without copying, so the memory precautions hold. The point list is allocated once at its final size.

Quality

  • Field-naming attribution needs checking (low-to-medium, ~50%). The vertex_part_ring name and the "unlike QGIS" contrast about the closing point are attributed to QGIS's Extract Vertices. As I recall, QGIS uses vertex_index, vertex_part and vertex_part_index and has no ring field. This appears in crates/analysis/src/tools.rs:923, docs/user-guide/analysis.md and the PR description. I could not verify it offline.
  • Nit: grammar in the for_each_path doc comment, crates/data/src/geometry.rs:245. A suggestion is attached.
  • Nit: the wasm branch of web_has_room is only compiled, not exercised by any test. The test helpers inject the check instead.
  • Nit: count_vertex_points takes an estimate: bool flag and returns zeroed memory when it is false. A separate function would read more clearly.

AGENTS.md

  • Conforms. The change adds no dependencies. Analysis is below L6, so there is no egui use and no i18n is needed there. The new tool is not on the ribbon. The ROADMAP, GEOLIBRE_PARITY, user-guide and skill docs are updated together, as CONTRIBUTING requires. The tool count of 23 matches the 23 ToolSpec entries.

Avoid materializing selected rows before the memory preflight.

feature_vertices_to_points allocates both the selected-index vector and the feature-reference vector before web_has_room. These allocations are not included in need. A large selection with empty or low-vertex features can therefore exhaust memory while n and need remain near zero. The tool can fail outside its intended Result error path.

Iterate over the selected rows directly for both counting and construction. Preserve the current empty-selection behavior, which processes all rows.

@giswqs giswqs added the claude-autofix Apply to have Claude merge the base, resolve conflicts and fix review comments (re-add to run again) label Oct 27, 2026
The Feature Vertices To Points memory message counted 2^20-byte blocks,
so it now says MiB. The browser probe's doc claimed a 4 GiB ceiling, but
a single wasm32 allocation can't exceed isize::MAX (2 GiB), so the probe
can't confirm more than that. The doc now says so. Also fix a doc
comment in geometry.rs that read as a fragment.

Low confidence (~35%): incomplete-CRS flag not carried over. out.crs = ds.crs copies the input's coordinate system, but not crs_incomplete. If the input is flagged because it lost geometry during import (see Dataset::crs_incomplete in crates/data/src/lib.rs), the points are built from only the surviving features, yet the output reports itself complete. Other tools here (e.g. feature_to_point) don't propagate it either, so this may be the intended pattern; if not, one line fixes it:

Claude autofix (unclear): Not changed. No analysis tool copies crs_incomplete to its output (grep finds no use in crates/analysis), so this would be the first. Whether derived layers should inherit the flag is a design call for a maintainer.

Code review

I found no blocking bugs. Two low-severity comments are posted inline. I could not compile or run the tests here (no shell), so the build and test results below are the author's claims, not mine.

Bugs

  • None found. I checked the vertex numbering against the tests by hand: polygon holes, unclosed rings, multipart lines, multipoints, selections, and the suffixed field names all match the code. vertex() behaves as before after the path() refactor. The new tool keeps the input's selection and CRS, and it does not depend on any cached Dataset state, so assigning features directly is safe. (Confidence: high.)

Security

  • None found. The tool writes a layer in the session, not a file, and it uses out_name, as touches_files expects. (Confidence: high.)

Performance

  • The memory precautions are sound: the count runs first, the allocations are fallible, and the browser probe is bounded. The vertex walk is linear. (Confidence: high.)

Quality

  • crates/analysis/src/tools.rs:1173 (low, ~35%): crs_incomplete is not copied with out.crs, so the output can report itself complete when the input lost geometry on import. Inline suggestion posted. Other tools do the same, so it may be intended.
  • crates/data/src/geometry.rs:267 (nit): path() repeats the variant match from for_each_path(). Inline comment posted.
  • The PR body says the docs now list "23 built-in tools". The diff sets it to 25, and TOOLS has 25 entries, so the docs are right and the description is stale.
  • I could not verify the claims about QGIS's and ArcGIS's Extract Vertices field names and behaviour, because I have no network access.

  • No violations found. There are no unwrap/expect/panic calls in non-test code, try_reserve is used for allocation, and cfg!(target_arch = "wasm32") keeps the browser-only code gated. The tool is in TOOLS, so hostile_params_never_panic covers it. The change is a roadmap "(open)" item and touches no coordinate-first area, so no proposal issue was needed. No new strings need catalog entries, and no dependencies or assets changed.

@giswqs giswqs added the claude-autofix Apply to have Claude merge the base, resolve conflicts and fix review comments (re-add to run again) label Oct 27, 2026
Geometry::path and for_each_path both map a (part, ring) pair to its
path, so a change to one has to be made in the other. Say so on path.
No behaviour change.

Nit (confidence: medium). The rationale here doesn't match the code. rows() (line 610) doesn't deduplicate, so a repeated selection row produces its vertices twice, and the output has duplicate points. Saturating addition only guards a usize sum that can't realistically overflow. Suggest stating the actual behaviour, so a reader doesn't assume repeats are dropped:

Suggested change
// Saturating: a selection restored from a project can repeat rows.
// Saturating, so a huge count can't wrap; a selection that repeats a row counts and writes its vertices again.

Right, repeats aren't dropped. Reworded in edf82c1: a repeated row is counted again and its points are written twice.

Code review

I checked the new tool, the geometry.rs refactor it depends on, the docs, and the AGENTS.md rules. I found no bugs or security problems. One inline nit is posted, on a misleading comment at crates/analysis/src/tools.rs:1092.

Bugs: None found. I traced the vertex numbering by hand against the new tests (polygon with hole and open ring, lines, multipoints, point layer). The counts and the orig_fid/part/ring/index values match. Two edge cases I checked are correct:

  • geometry.rs: path() picks the same path as for_each_path(), including the ring == 0 rule for lines.
  • unique_field gives the suffixed names the tests expect.

Security: None found. The new tool reads only through input/rows/get(), with no indexing and no unwrap in non-test code. The hostile-parameter test covers it through the tool list.

Performance: No issues. The refactor removes the per-call Vec in for_each_path and vertex() drops from a linear scan to a direct lookup. Features wraps an Arc<Vec<_>>, so points.into() doesn't copy the list. Fallible allocation and the browser memory check are as described.

Quality:

  • Inline nit, confidence medium: the comment at tools.rs:1092 says saturating addition handles a "selection restored from a project [that] can repeat rows". It doesn't. rows() doesn't deduplicate, so repeats produce duplicate points. The comment should say so. The suggestion block fixes the wording.
  • Not posted, confidence low: Value::Int(f.id.cast_signed()) turns any u64 id above i64::MAX negative. Only wrapped GeoPackage negative keys are expected there, so this is likely fine.

AGENTS.md: Compliant as far as I can tell. The analysis crate's existing format! messages are the local convention, and it sits below the translation layer. The tool count is 25 in both the code and docs/user-guide/analysis.md. The PR body still says "23 built-in tools", which is stale. The wasm32 path uses std::hint::black_box and try_reserve_exact, both of which build for the browser target. I could not run cargo here, so the build, clippy and wasm checks are unverified by me. I relied on the PR's stated results.

The tool listed its rows, then references to their features, before checking memory: two
allocations the estimate didn't count, and that couldn't fail with a message. It now walks the
selection (or every feature) in place, so nothing is allocated before the check. Out-of-range rows
are skipped and an empty selection still means every feature, as rows does.

Quality (confidence: moderate, about 60%). The QGIS naming claim doesn't match what I recall of QGIS's Extract vertices output. I believe its added fields are vertex_index, vertex_part, vertex_part_index, distance and angle, with no vertex_part_ring. If that holds, only vertex_part and vertex_part_index are QGIS names, and vertex_part_ring is this tool's own. The same claim is repeated in docs/user-guide/analysis.md and the PR description. I couldn't check QGIS's docs from this environment, so please verify before merging, and either correct the wording or drop "as in QGIS" for the ring field.

Same question as the earlier thread, answered there with QGIS's source (#1003 (comment)): vertex_part_ring is QGIS's own field, added for polygon layers.

Nit (confidence: high that it's harmless, low that it matters). The other size arithmetic in this estimate saturates (k.saturating_mul(...) and saturating_add in count_vertex_points), but this line uses plain * and +. Overflow can't happen with real field counts, but the file's rule is to clamp sizes from hostile input. A small consistency fix:

Code review

I found no correctness bugs. The main concern is a naming claim in the docs that I could not verify. I checked the new tool's walk, the selection handling, the memory-check logic, the geometry.rs refactor (behaviour-preserving, no remaining paths() callers), the tool count (25 ToolSpec entries, matching the docs), and the hostile-input and wasm constraints.

Bugs

  • None found.

Security

  • None found. The tool only reads an input layer and creates a new in-session layer. It writes no files and takes no paths.

Performance

  • None significant. vertex() drops from allocating a list of all paths to O(1), and the point count and memory estimate are computed once per feature.

Quality

  • Unverified QGIS naming claim (confidence about 60%): crates/analysis/src/tools.rs:1060, docs/user-guide/analysis.md, and the PR description say vertex_part_ring is named as in QGIS's Extract Vertices. My recollection is that QGIS's output fields are vertex_index, vertex_part, vertex_part_index, distance and angle, with no ring field. I could not check QGIS's docs from here, so please verify before merging.
  • Unchecked arithmetic in the memory estimate (nit): crates/analysis/src/tools.rs:1081 uses plain * and +, while the surrounding code saturates. Overflow is not reachable with real field counts. An inline suggestion is posted.
  • PR description inconsistency (nit): the body says the docs had "23 built-in tools". The diff changes the count from 24 to 25, and 25 is correct.
  • Untested wasm branch: web_has_room is compiled only for wasm32, so the native test suite never exercises the probe itself. The PR acknowledges this, and it is fine as is. The wasm build check is the only coverage.

AGENTS.md

  • Compliant on the points I checked: no unwrap/expect/indexing in non-test code (get() is used throughout), hostile_params covers the new tool automatically through TOOLS, format! is used for messages as in neighbouring analysis tools, no new dependencies, no ribbon change, and the attribution-free ROADMAP and GEOLIBRE_PARITY edits look right.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Enforce the VectorLayer input contract before this guard.

featureVerticesToPoints declares input as ParamKind::VectorLayer, which excludes standalone tables. However, map_inputs only prepares streamed layers; it does not validate that parameter kind. MapInputs::dataset then falls back to project tables, and input accepts both table IDs and table names. A table with a retained non-None geometry_type therefore reaches this function, passes the guard, and produces a point layer.

Add a layer-only input check for VectorLayer parameters. Reject numeric table IDs and names that resolve only to project tables, while accepting names that resolve to map vector layers. Do not use geometry_type as the source-kind check.

@coderabbitai The outside-diff finding (selected rows materialized before the memory preflight) is fixed in 745d605: the tool walks the selection, or every feature, in place, so nothing is allocated before the check.

@flight1973 Thanks for the fix in 745d605. Walking the selection or all features in place addresses the preflight allocation concern as described. I have not independently verified the commit.

Quality (confidence: medium). count_vertex_points is named as a count, but it also takes an estimate flag and returns a memory figure, so the call site reads let (n, need) = count_vertex_points(..., web) as two unrelated concerns. Consider splitting it into count_vertices and a separate estimator, or renaming it to say it also sizes the points (for example size_vertex_points). The doc comment should then state both results.

Code review

I found no correctness, security, or panic issues. The new code avoids unwrap/expect/indexing in non-test code, and Features is an Arc<Vec<_>>, so the final .into() does not copy the points. I checked the tool count (25 entries in TOOLS, matching the docs), the windowed-layer path (gp.rs loads streamed inputs in full before a run), open_len on empty rings, and the for_each_vertex/vertex() refactor, which keeps the old behaviour.

Bugs: none found.

Security: none found.

Performance: none found. The geometry.rs refactor removes the per-call Vec allocation in vertex().

Quality

  • count_vertex_points also returns a memory estimate, so its name is misleading (inline comment posted). Confidence: medium.
  • The fallible-allocation and browser-memory machinery (try_clone_value, vertex_row, web_has_room, check_room) is about 100 lines for one tool. It is justified in the PR and documented, but a shared helper may be worth it later. Confidence: low.
  • The wasm branch of web_has_room is not exercised by any test; only the native true path and check_room are covered. Confidence: high that it is untested, low that it matters.

AGENTS.md

  • Tests, GEOLIBRE_PARITY, the ROADMAP update and the assistant skill are all updated, as CONTRIBUTING requires for an (open) roadmap item.
  • The refusal message and the "needs a layer with geometry" error are plain English. This matches the analysis crate, which has no tl! or i18n calls, so it is not a regression. Confidence: medium.
  • The docs claim about QGIS's closing point is unverified (inline comment posted). Confidence: low.

count_vertex_points also returns the points' memory, so it is now size_vertex_points, and its
doc says so. The comment on its sum said a restored selection can repeat rows, which read as if
repeats were handled: it now says a repeated row is counted again and its points written twice.

Code review

Reviewed the full diff (6 files) against the repository guidelines in pr-context/AGENTS.md. I did not compile or run the tests, since this review had no build access; the claims below come from reading the code and grepping the repo. No inline comments were posted because nothing I found rises above a nit.

Bugs: None found (high confidence). Checked:

  • Selection semantics match rows(), including skipping out-of-range indices and treating an empty selection as "all".
  • The counting pass and the build pass walk the same features through the same for_each_vertex, so n matches the number of points built.
  • vertex() now uses path(), which selects the same path as the old paths().find(...) for points, multipoints, lines and polygons. It is also O(1) now instead of allocating every path.
  • open_len is safe for empty rings.
  • On a failed allocation, points is dropped before the error is returned, and the later loop iterations return early.
  • Field-name suffixing via unique_field is case-insensitive, as the test expects.

Security: None found (high confidence). Output goes through out_name as a layer name, with no file or path access. The analysis crate's source-scan guard (fs::, File::, io::Write, std::path, and similar) does not match any new code.

Performance: No issues (high confidence). The walk is linear: one pass to count, one optional pass to estimate on the web, and one to build. The fallible allocation and the pre-check avoid doubling copies. Features wraps an Arc<Vec<Feature>>, so points.into() does not copy.

Quality:

  • The PR description says "23 built-in tools", but the diff sets the docs to 25, and TOOLS now has 25 ToolSpec entries. The docs are right; the PR body is stale (high confidence).
  • path() and for_each_path() in crates/data/src/geometry.rs each describe the same path selection. The doc comment ties them together, which is an acceptable but real maintenance risk (low severity).
  • A selection that repeats an index writes that feature's points twice. This is documented in the code and is a design choice, not a defect (low severity).

AGENTS.md:

  • No unwrap, expect, panic!, or unsafe in non-test code. The only fallbacks are unwrap_or and get(..), and the crate-root deny block is present (high confidence).
  • Wasm: no std::time, and the browser-only probe is cfg-gated. The PR body reports a successful wasm build, which I did not re-run (medium confidence).
  • Translation: the analysis crate has no tl! or i18n usage, and the new tool's messages follow the existing format! pattern used by its neighbours (consistent).
  • ROADMAP.md and GEOLIBRE_PARITY.md are updated in the same change, as CONTRIBUTING requires. The roadmap item is marked open, so no prior coordination was needed.
  • The new tool id is in the TOOLS registry, so the hostile_params_never_panic coverage applies to it.
