Keeps dataset imports, sync uploads and tracing compatible with the refactored Rust SDK, reporting successful uploads only after delivery completes.
Coordinates with SDK #155 and daemon #217. The dependency updates preserve the newer daemon changes already on main. Leave unmerged until the SDK refactor is ready to land.
Validation: all 902 binary tests, all-target checks, formatting and diff checks passed after rebasing. Strict local Clippy still reports 12 existing warnings in unchanged code.
