Since v2.1.0 MBC can launch many bots from a single client. Every bot gets its own connection, its own random username and — on AuthMe-style servers — automatically registers or logs in after joining.
Set these keys in config.json:
{
"multi_bot_enabled": true,
"bot_count": 20,
"bot_name_prefix": "Bot",
"bot_name_digits": 4,
"bot_join_delay": 0.5,
"bot_auth_enabled": true,
"bot_auth_mode": "register",
"bot_auth_password": "yourpassword",
"bot_auth_delay": 1.5
}- The client probes the server protocol once and reuses it for every bot
- It generates unique random usernames from
bot_name_prefix+bot_name_digits(for exampleBot4821) - Bots connect one by one,
bot_join_delayseconds apart - With
bot_auth_enabledon, each bot waitsbot_auth_delayseconds after joining and then sends:-
bot_auth_mode: "register"→bot_auth_register_command -
bot_auth_mode: "login"→bot_auth_login_command -
bot_auth_mode: "both"→ the register command, then the login command
-
The commands are fully editable, so they work with AuthMe or any other login plugin. {password} is replaced with bot_auth_password:
| Plugin style | bot_auth_register_command |
bot_auth_login_command |
|---|---|---|
| AuthMe (default) | /register {password} {password} |
/login {password} |
| One-argument register | /register {password} |
/login {password} |
| Custom | /reg {password} |
/l {password} |
While the swarm runs, the console controls the whole group:
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
.status |
Show connected/total bots |
.say <text> |
Broadcast a chat message from every bot |
.exit |
Disconnect all bots and quit |
Every bot keeps its own keepalive handling; bots that fail to connect are reported in the console and skipped.
| Situation | Setting |
|---|---|
| 100 bots join too fast | Raise bot_join_delay (for example 1.0) |
| Name collisions across restarts | Raise bot_name_digits to 5 or 6 |
| Server needs time before commands | Raise bot_auth_delay (for example 3.0) |
Only use this on servers you own or are explicitly allowed to test on. Mass-joining public servers almost always violates their rules.
